Iranian parliament security committee to hold meetings with foreign diplomats

TEHRAN – National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran’s parliament (Majlis) is scheduled to hold meetings with ambassadors from 20 countries in three consecutive days which will start from Sunday.

The first meeting on Sunday includes ambassadors from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Syria, Venezuela and Cuba.

On Monday, ambassadors of Norway, Sweden, Spain, China, Japan, Russia, South Africa, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany and the UK will be present in the meeting.

And on Tuesday, the Iraqi, Pakistani and Afghan ambassadors will meet with lawmakers sitting on the parliamentary committee.

According to the parliamentary committee, the meetings are in line with expansion of relations between Tehran and the mentioned countries.
