Sattar Chamanigol’s debut feature ‘Golnesa’ has been accepted into the competition section of 3rd R.E.D International Film Festival (RIFF) in Norway.
Enjoying its fourth international screening, ‘Golnesa’ will now represent the Iranian cinema at the competition section of RIFF third edition in Eina, Norway.
‘Gonesa’ narrates the story is about Golmammad and ‘Golnesa’, a young Afghan couple, who are illegal immigrants and are working in a traditional brick making kiln. Following the events happening to them, their lives undergo certain changes.
RIFF, according to the festival’s website, aims to show “films that have a strong element of movement and dance including expressions such as screendance, art films, more traditional and conventional short films and full feature films.
RIFF third edition will take place on August 8th-12th, 2018.
