TEHRAN – Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, head of Budget and Planning Organization, unveiled the first section of a comprehensive plan aimed to tackle U.S.-led sanctions against Iran, ISNA reported.

In a letter to President Hassan Rouhani published on Friday, Nobakht enumerated the first part of the comprehensive plan, which is comprised of 12 executive packages, prepared by university professors and economic experts.

The plan seeks to shed light on impacts of the various scenarios of the sanctions and Iranian organizations’ duties to encounter them, to investigate the sanctions impacts on the general budget and prepare retaliatory measures, to find solutions to manage liquidity increase, to prepare a program to supply energy as well as basic goods under the sanctions, to arrange specific programs for railway and sea transportation under the sanctions, to plan industrial, mining and trade programs, to study divesting governmental shares to the private sector, to facilitate public and private cooperation on implementation of development projects, to prepare a plan to decrease absolute poverty and improve life quality of the poor, to put forward programs to prosper domestic production and job creation, and those programs to tackle U.S.-led sanctions in the fields of information technology (IT) and information and communication technology (ICT).
