TEHRAN- Iran’s national budget bill for the next Iranian calendar year, starting March 21 has envisaged 734 trillion rials (about $16.398 billion) of investment to be made by the government to implement 12 job-creation plans, Government spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht announced in a press conference on Tuesday.

In late December 2017, the official had said that the government will create 830,000 job opportunities by the end of the next Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2019).

“70 percent of the mentioned job opportunities will go to the educated workforce,” he said in a televised interview.
