TEHRAN – A motor race training course for women started at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Saturday.

Motor racing is officially recognized in Iran, varzeshebanovan.com quoted a report published by the public relations office of the motorcycle and automobile federation of Tehran province.

Currently a number of 20 interested women started their work with slalom motorcycle trainings, Mina Rezaee, head of the federation’s public relations office said adding this number is good for the beginning of women’s activity in this field.

The first group of women motorcyclists will be trained by male trainers, then women trainers will be substituted, she concluded.
