TEHRAN– Hamas Representative in Tehran Khalid al-Qadoumi criticized Donald Trump’s order to move US embassy to al-Quds as a clear alignment of US with ‘Israeli regime’.
“Trump is mired in domestic crisis and the order to move embassy was delivering on a promise he had made in the course of campaign trails,” said Hamas Representative in Tehran Khalid al-Qadoumi on Sunday.
He made the remarks in reaction to Donald Trump’s Wednesday decision ordering the move of US embassy to al-Quds.
“The power centers in US reached the conclusion to have Trump adopt this measure with the general approach to end the concept of Palestine as an independent state,” noted the Palestinian figure.
“Today we are witnessing a new phase in US ruling class who are after increasing their dominance over the world,” he asserted reminding that the Americans are after normalizing the occupation of the Palestinian lands.
“At this stage which is an importance confrontation and opposition, the issue of peaceful coexistence is over and they are ready to stage a new confrontation against the Islamic world,” underlined the Palestinian.
