A festival featuring traditional games was held in the eastern province of South Khorasan on Friday for the first time. Ritual dance, folklore music, camel riding, and ball games were among the recreational activities during the one-day event which was held in a tourist resort in Khusf. Participants competed against one another in five teams in two sections of men and women. The games are supposed to bring a spirit of happiness and keep ancient traditions alive.
