Diplomat slams states normalizing relations with ‘Israeli regime’

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told Indonesian ambassador to Tehran that some countries undermine the Islamic World with normalizing relations with “the Zionist regime.”

“The policy of normalizing relations with the Zionist regime is aimed to undermine the power and capacity of the Islamic World,” said Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Parliament Speaker’s Aide on International Affairs, on Wednesday.

The former deputy foreign minister made the remarks during his meeting with Indonesian Ambassador to Tehran. He denounced the policies undertaken by some Muslim countries about the issues of Palestine and Yemen.

“The policies of rulers in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain is to continue war and bloodshed in Yemen and that is eroding the power of the Islamic World,” reiterated the Iranian diplomat.

“The humanitarian disasters in Yemen and Myanmar are the worst catastrophes of the contemporary history,” he noted.

Mr. Amir-Abdollahian also offered gratitude toward the Indonesian government and people for defending the cause of the wronged people of Palestine at international venues and highlighted the importance of al-Aqsa mosque.

The Indonesian ambassador also extended gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for undertaking protective policies in defending the wronged nations of the world especially the oppressed people of Palestine and the war on terrorism.
