TEHRAN – “Animal” co-directed by Iranian filmmakers Bahram and Bahman Ark received the Golden Cat Award for Best Film at the 18th International Izmir Short Film Festival in Turkey on Saturday.

The film tells the story of a man who attempts to cross a frontier disguised as a ram.

“Limbo” by Konstantina Kotzamani from Greece and “8 Minutes” co-directed by George Gogichaishvili and David Abramishvili from Georgia won second and third prizes respectively for the best film at the festival.
