TEHRAN  – Iran reclaimed the title of the 71st edition of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) World Bodybuilding Championships.

The competition was held in the Spanish seaside resort of Benidorm for the third consecutive year.

The Iranian team claimed six gold medals, five silvers and two bronzes.

South Korea became runner-up, winning five gold medals, five silvers and two bronzes.

Germany finished in third place in the standings with three gold medals.
