Iran’s national football team managed to defeat Panama’s second team in a friendly match held Thursday evening in Graz, Austria.
In a World Cup preparation match, the Persian side pulled out a 2-1 victory over Panama’s second team, while most of the players of Panama national football team were absent.
Ashkan Dejagah and Saman Ghoddos scored for Iran while Gabriel Torres scored on a penalty shot for Panama.
Both Iran and Panama have qualified for 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
