TEHRAN– Leader’s Aide Ali Akbar Velayati said that the irrational behavior of US president, who apparently has not studied history, is nothing new.
Leader’s Senior Adviser in International affairs Ali Akbar Velayati made the remarks in reaction to Trump, adding that the US president was a businessman, mainly occupied in business industry.
He went on to say that the Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly stated its principal stance and will adhere to it. The armed forces including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps belongs to the people of this country, not only they establish authority and security in Iran, but they stand against the enemies of the country with all their might and bring the terrorists and extremist groups to their knees.
The Iranian official emphasized that Iran will definitely show the proper and proportionate response to any action defying its interests.
