The travel agency Arand Tour has planned a visit to selected historical sites in downtown Tehran. National Museum of Iran on 30-Tir Street and Golestan Palace, a UNESCO world heritage center, are the main destinations. Within the palace, the main hall, Shamsolemareh building on eastern wing, Khalvat-e Karim-Khani (Karim-Khan’s private quarters) and Marble Throne Iwan (porch) are among the places to be visited. The Jewelry Museum nearby, Moqaddam House, Meydan-Mashq and the main gate of National Garden are also on the itinerary, according to Arandtour.com.
The tour is slated for October 17 starting at 9 am near the 15-Khordad Metro Junction.
