TEHRAN – Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Bahram Ghasemi has condemned Saturday massive explosion in the Somali capital which has so far claimed the lives of over 180 people.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi strongly condemned the terrorist attack in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, and expressed deep sympathy and condolences with Somali nation, government and families of the victims of this tragic event.

A truck bomb exploded Saturday on a busy street lined with government offices, hotels, restaurants and shops in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, followed two hours later by a second explosion in the city’s Madina district. The death toll has risen to 189, with more than 200 injured.

None of the local terror groups have claimed responsibility for the attacks.
