TEHRAN –The first phase of a tourist village project in Khansar county, central Isfahan province, came on stream on Tuesday. 

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the director of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, Ali-Asghar Mounesan, the governor of Khansar, Seyyed Hassan Shaf’ati, and the provincial tourism chief, Fereydoun Allahyari, amongst other travel associates, CHTN reported.

Founded and developed by the private sector, the village covers 45 ha in area and is situated adjacent to the towering Zagros mountain range.

It includes a five-star hotel, a water park, a car cable system as well as play areas, the report said.
