Iran Professional League title-holder Persepolis is the country’s sole representative in the AFC Champions League.
Branko Ivankovic’s team sits eighth in the ranking with 1560 points.
Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, who has defeated Persepolis 4-0 in the first leg of the AFC Champions League semi-final, leads the ranking with 1667 points.
South Korea’s Jeonbuk (1605), Japan’s Kashima Antlers (1605), China’s Guangzhou Evergrande (1603), Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli (1601), the UAE’s Al Ain (1582) and Kawasaki Frontale (1574) are ahead of Persepolis in the ranking.
Iran’s Esteghlal is 21th in Asia with 1498 points and Tractor Sazi sits 24th with 1494 points.
Real Madid leads the Club World Ranking with 2097 points, followed by Barcelona (2040) and Juventus (1968).
Persepolis ranks 152 in the Club World Ranking, while Esteghlal sits in 278th place and Tractor Sazi is 291st.
