Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami said that the result of twelve years of negotiations which eventually led to an agreement passed by the UN, faced with the “Great Satan”’s breach of international obligations.

Speaking in a ceremony in Isfahan, Hatami pointing out that unfortunately in recent years, “we have witnessed serious problems causing insecurity in the region,” underlined ISIL’s terrorist group, widely sponsored by the Arrogance, left irreparable damages in Syria and Iraq; killing and injuring hundreds of thousands of innocent people and displacing 20 million men, women and children are among the “achievements” of the Takfiri group and their devil masters.

“Today, with the failure of the enemy’s plots to pose threats to the borders of the Islamic Republic through creating insecurity in the neighboring countries, the enemy has resorted to the economic war and sanctions regime to fight against Iranian nation which is actually the other side of their coin,” he noted.

Pointing to US President Donald Trump’s proposal to negotiate with Iranian leaders with no precondition, Hatami said “it is obvious that this time the enemy has started a full-scale war against the Islamic Establishment through the political, economic, cultural and psychological tools.”

Amir Hatami referred to the United States’ breach of Iran nuclear deal, saying “the result of twelve years of negotiations which eventually led to an agreement passed by the UN, faced with the Great Satan’s historical disloyalty.”
