TEHRAN – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force warned regional Arab countries that Iran would make no distinction between American military bases and the countries hosting those sites if a war broke out.

In an interview with Al-Manar, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh advised the regional countries working with the U.S. and Israel to rectify their policies.

“The U.S. and the Zionist regime have not created security anywhere, and if something happens in here and a war breaks out, we will make no distinction between the U.S. base and its host country. Naturally, the very same Arab countries of the region will bear the brunt,” he warned.

General Hajizadeh reasserted that the IRGC’s missile power would never be subject to negotiations, saying, “No (Iranian) official is allowed to negotiate about the missile power, and this is our red line.”

He also noted that Iran has independently decided to restrict the range of its missiles to 2,000 kilometers, but such limitation on the range of missile is not eternal.

Reaffirming Iran’s support for whoever fighting against the Zionist regime, the commander said Gaza and Lebanon are at the forefront of the battle and all of their missile capabilities have been supported by the Islamic Republic.

“Instead of giving a fish or teaching to catch a fish, we taught our allies and friends how to make a hook,” he said, adding that they are now in possession of advanced missile technologies.

The Israeli regime is currently at a “crossroad of fire” coming from Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and other Muslim countries, General Hajizadeh said, adding that the friends of Iran are now equipped with missiles with pinpoint accuracy instead of simple rockets.

He said efforts have been made round the clock since years ago after Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei warned the Zionist regime that Haifa and Tel Aviv will be razed to the ground if Israel makes a mistake.

Hajizadeh also pointed to Iran’s retaliatory missile strike on the US base of Ain al-Assad in Iraq after the assassination of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, saying such attack destroyed the dignity of the US.

On the plans to hit back at the U.S. in January 2020 after the missile strike, the general said, “We were prepared for the American response. Our missile power was fully on alert. If they had given a response, we would have hit all of their bases from Jordan to Iraq and the Persian Gulf, even all of their warships in the Indian Ocean.”

The January 2020 missile attack on Ain al-Assad military base came in retaliation for Washington’s assassination of Lieutenant General Soleimani upon his arrival in the Iraqi capital at the invitation of the Baghdad government.

US forces initially reported no casualties, but it later emerged that at least 110 soldiers sustained traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).

TEHRAN – Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Brigadier General Esmayeel Qaani lauded the role of Martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in strengthening the Axis of Resistance, and vowed that the U.S. troops will soon leave the region.

Qaani praised the role of General Soleimani in resolving regional crises and strengthening the Resistance Front, stressing that according to the agenda of the Resistance Axis, the end of the US military presence in the region is imminent.

He made the remarks in a closed session of the Iranian Parliament on Wednesday, where he briefed the lawmakers on the details of the last year terror attack on his former boss, Martyr General Soleimani.

He emphasized the necessity of revenge for the blood of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.

Hailing the role of General Soleimani in resolving regional crises and strengthening the Axis of Resistance, Qaani said that the bones of the enemy are being crushed due to such strengthened resistance.

Referring to the remarks of IRGC Quds Force Commander Brigadier General Qaani in the closed session of Iran’s Parliament on Wednesday, parliament member Ebrahim Rezaee said, “In the first place General Qaani stressed that the U.S. must leave Iraq and the region.”

Qaani, who served as Martyr Soleimani’s deputy for more than a decade, replaced him after his assassination.

He did not go into details of his meeting with lawmakers but it was expected the meeting to be on the latest developments in Iraq and in the region.

In relevant remarks on Sunday, Iranian Parliament Speaker’s Special Aide for International Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian underlined once again that the country will certainly take a harsh revenge from the masterminds and perpetrators of the terror attack on the former IRGC Quds Force Commander, Lieutenant General Soleimani.

TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) unveiled a homegrown multiple ballistic missile launcher on Wednesday.

The automated and smart system, used for launching multiple long-range ballistic missiles, has been manufactured by the IRGC Aerospace Force.

The homegrown missile launcher system was unveiled by IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami.

“The launch of our missiles rattles the enemy. Our missile power guarantees the withdrawal of enemies,” the IRGC commander said in the unveiling ceremony.

He also said that the deterrent and defense capabilities give Iran huge power that helps the country demonstrate its political will and impose it on the enemy if necessary.

Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made great headways in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the arms sphere.

Major General Hussein Salami said, in a speech, that “the flight of our missiles will shake the enemy’s core, and their force will push the enemy to retreat.” .

The Iranian Air Force had announced that its bombers were able to destroy virtual targets of the enemies in their guerrilla maneuver.

Brigadier General Pilot Farhad Kuderzi, spokesman for the maneuvers in its ninth phase, said that “on the second day of the main and operational phase of the exercises, F-4 bombers and fighters participated in destroying the virtual targets of the enemies.”

The Iranian Armed Forces affirmed that they are prepared to face any threat, stressing that it is committed to fulfilling the orders of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

The deputy chief of the general staff of the Iranian army, Brigadier General Qara Ashtiani, said, “These maneuvers (the air force guerrillas) basically mean the crystallization of national power, and as you have seen, the army air force pilots have trained well in these maneuvers on combined methods, and proved that the air force is capable.”

Iran launched the 9th phase of these maneuvers in the Isfahan Province over the weekend, as they showcased their aerial prowess in a series of drills.

TEHRAN – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh underlined his country’s high capability in production of different military equipment, saying that Iran stands among the world’s 10 top states manufacturing radars.

“Out of 20 radar manufacturing states in the world, certainly the Islamic Iran is among the 10 ten,” General Hajizadeh said, addressing a ceremony to put into operation two home-made Ghadir-class radars in the Central and Southeastern provinces of Yazd and Kerman on Tuesday.

He added that overlapping of the radar networks developed by the Iranian Army and the IRGC is one of the major military achievements of Iran, noting that the young Iranian experts are able to produce all radars needed by the operational forces.

“The next radar will be launched in Chabahar city (in Sistan and Balouchestan province) in the next three months and the number of the Ghadir-class radars will increase to 8,” Hajizadeh said.

Referring to the scientific and executive capacity of the elite IRGC Aerospace Forces, Hajizadeh said, “Our young elite forces are able to build and provide the radars needed by the operational forces.”

Yesterday two long-range 3D Ghadir radars designed and developed by Iranian experts have joined the country’s air defense forces.

The radars were put into operation during a ceremony on Tuesday in the presence of Chief Commander of Iran’s Army Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi and Commander of the Aerospace Division of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hajizadeh.

The Ghadir radar system was first unveiled by the IRGC in 2013. Eight of them have since been installed across the country.

The phased-array radar system has been designed to identify different types of stealth aircraft and deal with electronic warfare.

It is equipped with a large combination of transmitters and receivers in a quadrilateral shape without rotation and mechanical movement, providing 360-degree coverage within a range of over 1,000 kilometers.

The first batch of the long-range sophisticated radar was stationed in a base in the city of Garmsar, Eastern Tehran, in June 2014. The second set was put into service in the Southwestern city of Ahvaz in July 2015.

Totally designed and manufactured by the Iranian military experts at the IRGC Aerospace Force, the Ghadir identifies aerial targets on the basis of 3-dimensional detection. The system enjoys nonstop monitoring capabilities.

Using low signals, Ghadir is a suitable option for electronic warfare.

With a range of nearly 1,100 kilometers, the Iranian radar system can even detect targets with pretty small cross-section areas.

As the radar system is capable of detecting small flying objects and targets at far distances, it leaves no obstruction in radar maintenance industry in Iran.

TEHRAN – The chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says Iran will definitely avenge the U.S. assassination of General Qassem Soleimani, but it will only target those who are either directly or indirectly involved in the murder.

General Hossein Salami’s remarks on Saturday came after a US publication claimed that Iran planned to assassinate the American ambassador to South Africa in retaliation, prompting both Tehran and Johannesburg to dismiss the allegation.

“Our promise of avenging the martyrdom of General Soleimani is definite, serious and real. Mr. Trump, do not doubt our revenge, because it is quite definite and serious,” Gen. Soleimani said at the joint morning ceremony of the General Staff of the IRGC.

But “we will be targeting those who were directly or indirectly involved in the martyrdom of the great general Haj Qassem Soleimani,” he said.

“Do you think we will kill a female ambassador to South Africa in exchange for the blood of our martyr brother?” Gen. Salami added.

When the U.S. assassinated Gen. Soleimani and Iraq’s top anti-terror commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis outside Baghdad airport on Jan. 3, Iran responded five days later with a volley of precision-guided ballistic missiles which pommeled the Ain al-Asad base in Iraq, where US troops were deployed.

Gen. Salami said Saturday, “We are an honorable people and fair, and we take revenge fairly and justly, which is why we did not target your soldiers at Ain al-Asad.”

A flimsy U.S. report on the Politico this week, quoting unnamed officials, claimed that Iran had sought to assassinate US Ambassador to South Africa Lana Marks in retaliation for the January assassination of the top Iranian anti-terror commander.

South Africa’s State Security Agency said Friday it had found no evidence to support US media claims that Iran was planning to assassinate Marks.

Iran has categorically rejected the “malicious and baseless” report as part of “hackneyed and outworn methods to create Iranophobic atmosphere” by the U.S.

Gen. Salami on Saturday dealt with the threat, pledging that Iranian missiles are ready to rain down on U.S. troops.

“While you are severely plagued by your own internal problems, you are threatening us with a thousand-fold attack, but when we struck Ayn al-Asad, our assumption and prediction was not that you would not answer, but we were absolutely assuming that you would respond, and that we had hundreds of missiles ready to fire, and if you answered, we would destroy the intended targets.

“It is the same today, and if a hair sheds from an Iranian, we will blow away all your fleece and wool,” the top general said, using a Persian catchphrase.

“These threats are serious and we do not wage a verbal war and put everything to action,” the top general added.

“The Americans should know that we will strike anyone who was involved in the cowardly assassination of General Soleimani, and this is a serious message,” Gen. Salami said on Saturday.

He further explained: “The commanders of Hashd al-Sha’bi have fought alongside IRGC troops during the war with Saddam Hussain’s Iraq” in the 1980s. “They have had a major part in sorting out the problems caused by floods. Their vessels were efficient.”

However, Tangsiri charged that those who are against Hashd al-Sha’bi’s presence in Khouzestan are either ill-informed or they are linked to strangers.”

The militia are mainly affiliated with the Iraqi Hashd al-Sha’bi and Al-Nojaba groups and the Afghan Fatemiyoun battalions.

Ali Sari, an MP for Ahvaz in Khouzestan told reporters that he was not able to comment on the presence of Iraqi militia and their military equipment in Iran as he was unaware about how they were allowed to enter Iran.

Iran says the success of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in foiling enemy plots has enraged the U.S., Israel and their terrorist stooges.

Addressing worshipers at weekly Friday prayers, Tehran interim Friday prayers leader Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahedi Kermani denounced the U.S. measure.

On April 8, U.S. President Donald Trump blacklisted the IRGC, which helped the national armies of Iraq and Syria rid their countries of Daesh terrorists in late 2017.

Iran’s most senior military body vows to “spare no effort” in fighting the “terrorist” American forces operating in West Asia in support of the country’s IRGC, a day after Washington blacklisted the elite military force.

Following Trump’s declaration on Monday, Iran reciprocated by designating the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), the portion of the US military responsible for protecting American security interests in the Middle East and the Horn of Africa, as a terrorist organization.

Meanwhile many reformist figures condemned the Trump administration’s move unanimously, despite their political disagreements with the IRGC.

Union of Islamic Iran People Party, National Trust Party, and Neda Party criticized U.S. President Donald Trump in separate statements, and some figures also took a stand against Trump in their Twitter accounts.

The main theme of these statements and tweets was that the reformists’ difference with and criticisms of the IRGC and its performance are within the scope of internal disputes; however, when faced with the foreign enemy, all support the armed forces in order to counter what threatens the sovereignty of the country.

One of the first figures who condemned the move was Abdollah Ramezanzadeh. He is the former spokesman and secretary of the government of reformist president, Seyed Mohammad Khatami. Ramezanzadeh was arrested a few hours after the 2009 disputed presidential election. Shortly before his arrest, he released a speech posted on the opposition websites. He was sentenced to 6 years jail.

Amid unprecedented torrential rains in northern, western and southwestern Iran, the military forces have mobilized efforts to help people trapped in the flood-affected areas and evacuate residents in the regions with an emergency situation.

Record spring rainfall that has battered Iran in the past weeks caused serious flooding in many areas, mainly the provinces of Golestan, Lorestan, Khuzestan, Fars and Ilam, forcing thousands to leave their homes.

While residents in some western areas are still in need of relief aid, the Army Ground Force, the IRGC, and Basij have deployed forces, heavy military machinery, aircraft and boats to the disaster zones.

Tasnim: The Trump administration on Monday labeled IRGC as a terrorist group and said, “This unprecedented step, led by the Department of State, recognizes the reality that Iran is not only a State Sponsor of Terrorism, but that the IRGC actively participates in, finances, and promotes terrorism as a tool of statecraft”. What is your take on the move?

Barrett: Reckless, absurd, insane, self-defeating…there are no words to describe it. Undoubtedly, all of the actual Iran experts in the State Department opposed the move. But Trump’s political appointees, supported by however many Israeli agents have infiltrated the State Department—presumably quite a few of them—were apparently able to override truth, logic, and the US national interest and hand another gift to Trump’s boss Netanyahu.

The word terrorism once actually meant something: “A military tactic consisting of intentionally targeting civilians to spread fear.” But since the neocon-Zionist orchestrated false flag event of September 11 2001, the word terrorism has been systematically abused by the Zionist-dominated Western media. Today, terrorism means whatever the Zionists want it to mean. It is an empty slur used against everyone the Zionists perceive as an enemy.

And what makes the situation so Orwellian is that the Zionists are themselves the world’s worst terrorists. The book State of Terror by Thomas Suarez makes it clear that the settler colonial project known as “Israel” was created by terrorism and persists by terrorism. The entire Zionist project is one ongoing long-term systematic terror attack on a civilian population. And the Zionists are masters of false flag terror against their own people and their own supposed allies as well.

Today the Zionists routinely and as a matter of policy drop bombs and white phosphorous on schools, hospitals, ambulances, UN installations, and other civilian targets. Their snipers routinely and as a matter of de facto policy lure children within reach of their guns and murder them for sport, as Chris Hedges describes in his article “Gaza Diary.”

Iran’s IRGC, by contrast, does not intentionally or systematically target civilians. On the contrary, it is the leading regional force fighting against the actual terrorists, the groups that really do intentionally and systematically target civilians, namely, Israel and Daesh. So to be accurate, the State Department should change its statement and designate the IRGC as the world’s leading anti-terrorist group.

Tasnim: Later in the day, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council in turn designated US forces in West Asia, known as the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), as a terrorist organization. What are your thoughts on this?

Barrett: CENTCOM is not quite as obviously a terrorist organization as Israel and DAESH are. Israel systematically assaults civilians in pursuit of its policy of ethnic cleansing. Massacring and terrorizing civilians is its main mission. Likewise, DAESH systematically assaults and terrorizes civilians. These are “pure” terrorist groups.

CENTCOM’s official policy is to try to avoid or at least limit civilian casualties, which it euphemistically calls “collateral damage.” But because its main mission is to force entire peoples into subjugation to the US empire, it inevitably finds itself fighting civilians and guerrilla forces that enjoy mass support among civilians. So it ends up murdering far more civilians and becoming a bigger terrorist organization, than even the born-and-bred terrorists like Israel and DAESH.

According to Chomsky and Vltcheck’s On Western Terrorism, the US has murdered roughly 60 million people in military and CIA invasions and interventions since World War II. And according to Australian scientist Dr. Gideon Polya, the US has murdered 27 million people in predominantly Muslim countries since the 9/11 false flag event, which was a carefully designed psychological operation whose purpose was to trigger that very wave of mass murder.

So despite CENTCOM’s protestations that it doesn’t “intentionally” target civilians, it could accurately be called the most murderous and destructive terrorist group on earth.

Tasnim: As you know, Trump announced the decision on the eve of Israel’s election. Netanyahu took credit for the move and said, “Thank you, my dear friend, President Donald Trump,” Netanyahu tweeted in Hebrew, “for answering another one of my important requests”. What do you think?

Barrett: For once in his life, Netanyahu is telling the truth. He really does own Donald Trump, whose entire career has consisted of serving as a front man for Jewish-dominated organized crime.

Prior to the 1990s, organized crime in the US and much of the Western world was controlled by the “boss of bosses,” the banker to the mob, Meyer Lansky. The young Donald Trump was anointed in the 1960s by Lansky’s New York lieutenant Roy Cohn and set up in the money laundering business. (Trump’s hotels and casinos are primarily devoted to money laundering, not hospitality or gambling.)

In the 1990s the Jewish-Russian mob took over America including most of what had previously been Lansky’s domain. The best book on this is Red Mafia by Robert Friedman, a brave Jewish investigative journalist who was murdered by the people he exposed. The “Russian” (really Zionist-Israeli) mob’s headquarters is the top section of Trump Tower.

Trump’s kosher nostra handler is his son-in-law Jared Kushner. Trump’s main political/financial backer is Sheldon Adelson, the Las Vegas Godfather who is very close to Netanyahu.

“Russia-gate” was in reality a smokescreen designed to hide Israel-gate. Michael Flynn’s real crime was to act as an agent of Israel, not Russia, as he tried to undermine Obama’s Middle East policy prior to Trump taking office. In this, Flynn was obviously acting under orders from Trump and his Zionist handler, Kushner.

So yes, Netanyahu is right about his total control of Donald Trump. But if the Israeli and Jewish people think that is good for them in the long term, they are very sadly mistaken. As more and more people in the US and around the world learn the truth about these matters, popular anger is rising. Sooner or later, there will be hell to pay.

Rouhani described the move as a “very provocative, dangerous, and unprecedented” one in the history of international relations, and said it was made at the request of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as explicitly admitted by him.

“Without the sacrifices made by the IRGC forces, at least two regional states would have fallen to the ISIS terrorist group by now,” the Iranian president said.

“Through their sacrifices and efforts, the IRGC forces dealt a heavy blow to the ISIS and other terrorist groups in the region,” he noted.

Rouhani’s comments came after Trump on Monday released a statement designating the IRGC “a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) under Section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.”

In reaction to the designation, Iran labeled the US CENTCOM as a terrorist organization, and threatened that U.S. forces in the region would not have calm anymore.

Rouhani, however, told Macron on Tuesday that the Iranian government is resolved to protect regional security and prevent tensions from growing.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Iranian president referred to the Iran nuclear deal and Europe’s commitments under the 2015 accord, saying that both sides of the important deal must fully implement their obligations, so that Iran would be able to reap the legitimate economic benefits of JCPOA.

“Despite living up to its commitments, Iran has yet to see any considerable practical move by the other side,” he added, highlighting 14 reports by the International Atomic Energy Agency confirming Iran’s compliance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

He also called for accelerated and effective implementation of the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) introduced by Europe within the frameworks enshrined in the agreement.

Macron, for his part, once again underlined that Paris and its European partners are seriously pursuing the implementation of all their commitments under the deal.

“France is closely monitoring the regional developments, and will do its best to secure Iran’s interests under the JCPOA,” he said.

France and its other European partners will do their utmost to encourage the U.S. to moderate sanctions against Iran, Macron said, highlighting the “highly significant” role of Russia and China in this area.

He also expressed sympathy with the Iranian nation and government, particularly the families of the flood victims, saying that his country decides to dispatch humanitarian aid to the people affected.
