TEHRAN (Iran News) The official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), citing a military source, said on Friday night that the armed forces, with air cover from Russian and Syrian fighter jets, conducted the operation in Al-Dar al-Kabirah, Talbiseh, and al-Rastan in northern Homs.

Dozens of terrorists were killed, and many others fled as a result of the operation that also destroyed a significant amount of equipment, weapons, and ammunition belonging to the terror groups, the source said.

The country announced that it had arrested a number of terrorists in several Iranian provinces in July. Iran’s Intelligence Ministry explained that 43 bombs were confiscated from the detainees who were planning to carry out operations in at least 6 Iranian provinces. That came after Iran declared the detention of 14 terrorists in May.

The string of arrests seems to have continued as Iran’s Intelligence Ministry on Wednesday announced it had discovered and taken into custody more members of the network.
“Two fully armed terrorists carrying 382 handmade bombs and 65 ready-to-detonate explosives were arrested in Khuzestan,” said the ministry in a statement.

“On August 23, a key member of the network was arrested in Mazandaran province. He has a history of carrying out sabotage attacks and had received two sound bombs from his commander in the Netherlands two weeks before getting arrested”.

Iranian intelligence forces arrested another terrorist who had carried out deception operations in Kermanshah and sent the videos to Israeli agents in Sweden and Denmark.

Three more members detained in Sistan-Baluchestan possessed bombs as well as various weapons, including rifles, SG-43 Goryunovs, and Rifle grenades.

“One of the most staggering cases in the detentions belonged to a group of siblings who were planning to assassinate their own brother. The targeted brother apparently had serious drug addiction and was largely loathed by his family members. As he had got arrested twice last fall for committing various crimes, his siblings were planning to kill him and blame his death on security forces. They had got paid for the plot and were planning to portray their brother as a ‘heroic fighter’ who had got killed by police. They sought to execute their plans during the anniversary of last year’s riots,” added the Intelligence Ministry.

One of the kingpins of the terror group is named Shahin Zahmatkesh, a rapper living in Denmark who dropped out of school at 17. Zahmatkesh’s parents were members of the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) and his father was sentenced to death by an Iranian court in the 80s.

The other key member leading the group of terrorists in Iran is Siamak Tadayon Tahmasbi, a former painter residing in the Netherlands. He got hired by the Israeli regime after he released some works insulting Islamic values.

“The selected time period for carrying out operations in all revealed cases coincides with the anniversary of the 2022 riots,” highlighted the statement. “The diversity of terrorist groups and terror centers preparing to create chaos in the country is quite significant. From centers based in Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark to Daesh elements based in Afghanistan (terrorists responsible for the Shah Cheragh attack) and gangs residing in Pakistan, all chose the same time frame to carry out their operations. This goes to show that all these terrorists are being led by the same force in Western countries and Israel”.

On Friday, Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark, witnessed another sign of violence while the police forces were so sluggish in controlling the violence. According to reports, the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran was the main target and was attacked while the police forces reacted slowly but finally arrested the attacker.

Danish police said later on Friday that it has arrested the 32-year-old man who attacked the Iranian embassy in Copenhagen. The man, an Iranian citizen, had been stopped by an employee before entering the embassy building, police said, according to Reuters.

He will have reportedly a court hearing at Copenhagen city court and will be charged with two counts of vandalism, for violence, and for breaching a section of the penal code that deals with crimes against people with diplomatic status.

This is not the first time that embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran become the targets for attack and the host countries remain onlookers in a way that attackers continue their crimes.

According to the international conventions and diplomatic principles, the host countries are fully in charge of protecting the embassies. Western countries expect other countries to fully protect their diplomats and embassies while they turn into a onlooker when they should do their job of protection for other countries like the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Reacting to this attack, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian lashed out at Denmark for failing to ensure the security of the Islamic Republic’s embassy and ambassador in Copenhagen after an armed assailant broke into the diplomatic site.

In a phone call with Iranian Ambassador to Copenhagen Afsaneh Nadipour on Friday, Amirabdollahian said it is a shame that such an attack happens against a “female ambassador with diplomatic impunity in the heart of Europe.”

He also criticized the Danish police for their belated response to the intrusion.

The envoy then briefed the foreign minister on the circumstances surrounding the attack, saying, “After trespassing on the embassy’s premises, the assailant, carrying a cold weapon, started to threaten, terrorize and cause damage to the vehicles in the parking lot of the embassy.”

“Unfortunately, despite the previous official warnings, the Danish police arrived at the embassy with considerable delay,” Nadipour added.

The director general of West Europe at the Iranian Foreign Ministry also summoned Denmark’s ambassador to Tehran to officially protest over a lack of security for Iran’s embassy and its diplomats.

During a meeting, the Danish ambassador was reminded of the responsibility of the host government to protect the diplomatic missions of other countries and of the need for the Danish government to adhere to its international obligations in that regard.

In response, the Danish ambassador apologized for the incident, saying security measures will be strengthened after the incident.

He added that he will immediately convey Iran’s protest to Copenhagen.

A couple of days ago such a similar anti-Iran offence happened in Sweden and Iran’s Foreign Ministry summoned Sweden’s chargé d’affaires to protest an attack on the Iranian embassy in Stockholm.

The Swedish diplomat was summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry in the absence of the ambassador to convey the Islamic Republic’s strong protest with regard to the Swedish police’s failure to take the fully required security measures in accordance with the Vienna Convention.

These countries which claim of freedom of expression and observing international laws are even themselves unable to observe the simplest international principle which is to protect fully the diplomatic mission.

We have not yet forgotten the action of European countries when the British Embassy and Saudi Arabia Embassy in Tehran were attacked by some protesters in the country. They reacted as if the Islamic Republic of Iran has committed crime and decided to withdraw their envoys and when it is their turn, they forget their obligations.

The Islamic Republic of Iran once again warns the European countries not to side with the anti-Islamic Revolution protesters and offenders and it wants them to abide by the international diplomatic laws.

Unfortunately European countries in recent days have joined rioters inside Iran through their verbal encouragement and support but they are better to stay away from the rioters and mind their own businesses.

The Scandinavian countries, which have turned into the haven for terrorists as Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has reiterated, are better to expel terrorists from their lands if they really seek peace and stability otherwise those terrorists will continue such violent acts and will tarnish their reputation as lands of tranquility.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is patient but enemies should not test its patience because they may face a strong response and Tehran wants peaceful relations with all countries but it will defend its rights and the anti-revolutionaries are better to remain quiet because they are so petty to shake the pillars of the Islamic Revolution.

On Friday, at least 33 Afghan people, including children, were killed and 43 others wounded after an explosion tore through a mosque in the northern city of Kunduz, in the latest in a series of deadly attacks in the war-ravaged country.

There has been no claim of responsibility for the attack yet, which followed multiple blasts claimed by the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group in the country.

On Thursday, a bombing at a mosque in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif on Thursday killed at least 31 worshipers and injured more than 80, in the second major attack on the Shia Hazara community in Afghanistan in a week.

On Tuesday, two blasts outside a school in a Hazara community neighborhood of Kabul killed at least 20 people and wounded more than two dozen others.

The Hazara community, the poorest of the country’s ethnic groups, accounts for about 22 percent of Afghanistan’s population. Its members have been targeted in several large-scale kidnappings and killings across Afghanistan in the past.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh on Friday condemned the “terrorist” blast that hit the mosque in Kunduz.

Khatibzadeh pointed to the series of terrorist attacks in recent days in Afghanistan and expressed his deep concern over the escalation of violence and acts of terror in the country.

The Iranian spokesperson added that the attack on the Kunduz mosque “clearly shows the vicious intentions of foreign mercenary terrorists who seek to wage civil war in Afghanistan.”

Security in Afghanistan has vastly improved since the Taliban’s takeover of the country. However, several attacks are reported each week throughout the country, including some claimed by Daesh.

Meanwhile Iran’s Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Zahra Ershadi on Friday said that ISIS’ presence in Afghanistan has intensified terrorist attacks in the country.

Speaking at the High-Level Briefing on the National Strategy and Action Plan of Tajikistan on Countering Terrorism and Extremism 2021-2025, said that Iran condemns the recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan and is deeply concerned about such sorrowful incidents, calling on Afghan authorities to quickly bring the perpetrators to justice.

She highlighted the role of foreign actors through implementing irresponsible policies, including transfer of ISIS terrorists from Iraq and Syria to Afghanistan, as a cause of intensification of security situation in the region.

The Iranian diplomat urged global and regional cooperation considering the multidimensional and extraterritorial properties of terrorism, adding that this can be realized through bilateral and multilateral agreements and international and regional organizations like Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

From the moment the western forces left Afghanistan and handed over indirectly the power to the Taliban, it was clear that the U.S. seeks ill intention in Afghanistan and it wants to use this country as a source of tension and insecurity in the region and to bring up terrorist groups there like the Daesh in order to use them against countries in due time.

Since the Taliban government is not currently an inclusive government and the rift in the country is wide open, the West can nourish such terrorist groups for its purposes. Unfortunately after several consecutive blasts in Afghanistan, there has been no reaction from the big powers and even the international bodies, and even the Taliban government has been unable to take required actions against the terrorist groups.

It seems Daesh is regrouping in Afghanistan and uses it as a haven for its existence and future plans and the world should take a collective decision to bring down Daesh terrorists in Afghanistan or any part of the world.

So far the world has been indebted to the Islamic Republic of Iran and its brave martyred General Soleimani and his comrade the current peace and curbing the Daesh, if the world wants to uproot terrorism and especially the Daesh, they should serious actions and stop finance and arming of this group.

Recent blasts in Afghanistan are not the first and will not also the last, and in the future we will see more of them because they are aimed at creating rift among Muslims and groups in the country and to show Afghan people that it was the Western forces who had been in charge of restoring peace and security in Afghanistan and with their departure, Afghans will be unable to restore their security and this doctrine has been spread by the West in most countries in order to strengthen their footstep in those states for domination over their nations and the governments.

The office published images of joint patrols by militants and American forces in Syria’s southeastern al-Tanf region, al-Mayadeen TV channel reported on Saturday.

Other images showed a US Army instructor teaching terrorists how to use 82 mm mortars.

The military prosecutor’s office said the evidence also included remarks by some armed elements and their field commanders, who confessed that they took part in direct attacks and assassinations against Syrian and Russian military officers after receiving orders to perform such operations.

The militants, it added, received money after attacks targeting Syrian and Russian forces.

“The purpose of the presence of American forces in Syria is to protect armed groups such as Daesh as well as to steal Syrian wealth, including oil, gas and wheat, and transfer them abroad,” it said.

“The US occupation of large parts of Syria is tantamount to a military aggression under international law, especially because it (the US) has not received the consent of the Syrian government for such presence.”

Syria has been gripped by foreign-backed militancy since March 2011. The government says the Western countries and their regional allies are aiding terror outfits.

The US has deployed soldiers and military equipment in Syria without any authorization from Damascus or the UN.

Washington has long been collaborating with anti-Damascus militants and plundering Syria’s resources, ignoring repeated calls by Damascus to end its illegal occupation of the country.

TEHRAN – Judiciary Chief Hojjatoleslam Seyed Ebrahim Raisi said that the destruction of terrorist positions in the west of the country showed there will be no safe place in Iran for terrorists.

“The arrest of terrorists by the intelligence forces and the destruction of terrorist positions in the west of the country by the IRGC show that the crimes of terrorists will not be ignored and there will be no safe place in the country for them,” said Raeisi said during a meeting of Supreme Judicial Council on Monday.

Stating that the security-judicial authority must be improved day by day, he added, “The enemy seeks to dominate the minds of the people through threats and distortions.”

It must know that people don’t trust them anyway, he noted.

“The message of the Iranian nation is the message of active resistance, the production of power in the security and economic spheres and the display of authority in all dimensions,” he said, adding, “The Iranian nation will disappoint the enemy with its efforts and resistance.”

In a statement on Saturday, IRGC announced that its ground forces have launched an attack on the positions of anti-revolutionary groups across the northwestern Iranian borders which have inflicted heavy damage to the enemies.

Raisi then said self-reliance and trust in domestic capabilities are keys to handle internal challenges amid sanctions.

“All challenges can be solved by the help of Iranian youth, elites and brave managers,” he said.

While highlighting that looking forward to the developments in other countries to decide for domestic affairs is “a strategic mistake”, the Judiciary chief said, “Powerful Iran comes under the cooperation and unification of the government, Parliament and the Judiciary.”

Raisi made the comments amid the speculations linking Iran’s policies to the U.S.’s recent presidential election.

Referring to the events following the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election, he said that the U.S. scandal has been exposed.

Raisi added that what is being seen in the United States today is their scandal after a long time of creating a shell of democracy.

“In the recent U.S. presidential election, the world witnessed that the image they have shown to the communities so far is not real and that they are facing many problems,” added Raisi.

He stated that the Americans are trying to dominate the thoughts and ideas of different societies in the world through threats and distortions, but an aware and insightful society like Iran is well aware that the American threats are not effective in any way.

Referring to the Iranian people’s resistance against the enemies, Iran’s judiciary chief said that the Iranian nation’s message is resistance and the production of power in the security and economic fields.

So far, the Iranian nation has resisted these pressures well and they will continue to do so in the future, he added.

French weekly Charlie Hebdo is a satirical weekly known as a far-rightist which hits the news-stands on Wednesdays in France.

Kind of approach, attitude and articles of this magazine is against religions from Islam to Christianity and rarely against Judaism. This magazine has started its German language version since December 1, 2016 with circulation of 200,000 copies for distribution in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Charlie Hebdo first appeared in 1970 as a companion to the monthly Hara-Kiri magazine which was being published between 1960 and 1961 and it was banned several times. The French government first in 1970 banned Hara-Kiri and once banned it at the order of French Interior Minister for mocking the death of former French president Charles de Gaulle. In 1981 its publication ceased, but the magazine was resurrected in 1992 by some of its experienced staff under the new name of Charlie Hebdo (the name is an innuendo to Charles de Gaulle). The number of circulation of the magazine was low and public criticism about the magazine’s low quality content almost closed it down till a group mostly Jews, it is better to say with Zionist intention and support, joined the magazine’s staff and they published new Charlie Hebdo Weekly in 1992.

One of the known goals of the weekly is to spread hatred among ethnics in France first and Europe the next. This weekly has taken a dangerous and at the same time sacrilegious action to incite Muslims’ sentiments so that one is ashamed to go through its content.

Before Charlie Hebdo commits such a flagrant offense, it was first a Danish magazine which had started such a dirty move which faced world Muslims’ anger. Publication of derogatory anti-Islam cartoons first was hit the news-stands some 15 years ago by a Danish newspaper, and one year later, Charlie Hebdo continued publishing derogatory caricature. This offensive action was faced backlashes and faced Muslims’ angry protests. The French weekly by publishing the offensive caricature intended to show “All Muslims are terrorists”.

This weekly in an article on the occasion of re-printing its derogatory caricature rudely emphasized that it would never retreat and would not budge an inch.”

Republication of that offensive cartoon happened on Saturday, September 5, which was brought from the digital version of the weekly into the printed version and it was distributed in the news-stands and infuriated millions of Muslims and wounded their hearts and souls.

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in a statement condemned this painful action. All organizations and personalities also condemned it and called it one of the methods of Zionists for fight with the daily growth of Islamic thoughts in the biggest phenomenon, dubbed Islamic Revolution, and warned of its dire consequences. The world witnessed staging protest rallies against this dirty act. On Wednesday and at Imam Hussein Square (A) of Tehran, people gathered to stage a protest gathering in condemnation of this French weekly rudeness and they condemned Charlie Hebdo’s act in a statement with one prelude and five articles as some part of the statement reads as follows:

“1 – We strongly and whole-heartedly express our heartily hatred and anger toward this offensive insult to the word of Allah and sacred realm of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the western countries, and strongly condemn humiliating silence of French officials under pretext of freedom of expression especially French President’s unacceptable justifications for this horrible sacrilegious act.

2 – With full awareness and not being negligent about anti-human plots of the enemy No.1 of the humanity, we still consider the Great Satan and criminal U.S. and its illegitimate child, fake and child-killer Zionist regime as the mother of all corruptions of the century and we consider whatever action that is geared towards Islamophobia and adversarial moves targeting billions of freedom-seeking people’s sanctities to be an outcome of their hostile policies and sinister plots.

3- We call on all international communities and all freedom-seekers and Muslims in the world and the Islamic Republic of Iran’s statesmen especially its Foreign Ministry, by taking strong and decisive stand against the shameful insults regarding the most sacred of all sanctities, the Word of God and Prophet (PBUH), take strong and decisive action and not to be content only with minimum condemnation.

4- Unforgivable betrayal of the doomed UAE leaders and allies of the Great Satan against Islam and Muslims for normalizing humiliating ties with the fake regime and usurper of first Qibla of Muslims is strongly condemned and we warn of repetition of such a crime and unforgiveable betrayal by any other unwise leader of Arab countries.

5- By practical commitment to the progressive principle of Velayat-e Faqih, we consider the secret of grandeur and power of the country of Imam Zaman (A) and bliss of all in the full obedience to the valuable recommendations of great and respected leader of Islamic ummah, and we announce our readiness to fight to death to protect insight, awareness and performing our duties.”

It seems the French Government to shut down this magazine for one year because in the past the weekly has been closed down due to its insult to former French President De Gaulles and if this government does not close the publication for its desecration by resorting to false pretexts like freedom of expression, it is undoubtedly the accomplice of Charlie Hebdo’s crime and it should wait for its consequence and punishment.
