Iran Saffron Exports Down 63%
A member of the board of directors of Iran’s National Saffron Council says according to the statistics released by Iran’s Customs Administration, Iran’s exports declined around 63% last month comparing to the same period last year and all should work to diagnose the reason and to find solution for it.
Iran’s annual saffron exports exceed $190m
Iranian saffron farmers exported 324.589 tons of products worth over $190 million to 60 foreign destinations during the previous Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20), the spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) announced.

Agriculture Ministry plans to boost exports of medicinal plants
Iran exported around $570 million worth of medicinal plants in the last fiscal year (ended March 20), registering a $120 million increase compared to the year before, an official with the Agriculture Ministry said.
