Resistance economy to defeat US sanctions: IRGC chief

TEHRAN (Iran News) – IRGC Chief Major General Hossein Salami said on Wednesday that “we are trying to turn ‘economic resistance’ into ‘resistance economy’ to reverse the trend of the US sanctions.”

“Foreign companies’ leaving Iran gave us a chance to indigenize technology and now they [enemies] see our independence,” he said.

He added that Khatam‑al Anbiya Construction Headquarters is not an economic and money-making body but it is using all the available capacities to support Iran’s economy.

The IRGC chief referred to the wide range of psychological attacks carried out by enemies against the Iranian nation, noting that “the enemy seeks to make Iran a reliant country by barring knowledge and conducting psychological operations and warfare.”

Salami also said that “we have averted interference and penetration of enemies and we want to seal their tongues, too.”

NIOC to offer 9th round of supplying gas condensate at IRENEX

This is the 9th round of supply of gas condensate in the international ring of energy exchange since the current Iranian calendar year (started Mar. 21) and also 4th round of supplying gas condensate in the international ring according to the instructions notified by the oil minister in the current tear.

The least possible amount for loading a cargo for land transportation is 110 tons. Accordingly, purchasers can receive their cargoes for at most three months after the purchasing date.

The delivery of cargoes in other areas strictly depends on the previous approval of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).

One of the main strategies that Iran chose to execute to help its oil exports afloat has been trying new ways to diversify the mechanism of oil sales, one of which is offering crude and light oil besides gas condensate at the country’s stock market.

According to this report, supply of crude oil and gas condensates in Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) has been put atop agenda in line with realization of policies of resistance economy based on diversifying in the sale methods and use of high capacities and capabilities of the private sector for spurring exports and export activities.

Govt.’ main policy is to resist against foreign pressures

“It is a must to brief the Iranian nation and officials about the government’s economic and budget policies for tackling such situation and resisting against the pressures,” he told reporters on his arrival in Zanjan Province, “If the people and economic activists are fully informed about the policies, we can overcome this point of time.”

He also informed that good solutions and policies have been prepared by the government in this regard.

Iranian officials believe that the ongoing US economic war on Iran as more complicated than the 8-year imposed war by the Iraqi Saddam regime, stressing that the Iranian nation will make the enemies regret about the new war.

As Iranian President Hassan said in late May, “today we are facing economic war and attacking people’s welfare and living,” adding, “this attack is in one aspect more complicated than the previous one, and we need to resist and stand tall to make enemies understand that despair has no place in our hearts and we will not abandon the goal of our country’s independence and dignity.”

He reiterated that “today is the day of resistance and I tell the people of Iran explicitly that we can defeat the United States, the Zionist regime, and the regional reactionaries through unity, resistance, and steadfastness.”
