As it was expected by taking office of a revolutionary government in the Islamic Republic of Iran, there would be a shift in policies and the partners and allies of the country and now Iran under its revolutionary President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi is gradually making this shift come true.
Raisi and His First Gov’t Week
Every year and on the second day of Iranian calendar month of Shahrivar (August 24), the Islamic Republic of Iran commemorates the memory and the name of martyrs President Mohammad-Ali Rajaei and Prime Minister Mohammad Javad Bahonar by holding the Government Week. Rajai and Bahonar were assassinated in a bombing at presidential office on August 30, 1981 and actually the last week of August is marked as the Government Week.
