										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>An official from Iranian university Farajollah Talbi said the signed MOU includes holding joint training courses for the students and joint empowerment courses for professors.</p>
<p>As he added, in a meeting between chancellor of Technical and Vocational University and vice-chancellor of the German FHM in Tehran on Saturday, the two sides also discussed establishment of a joint trade school by the help of Iranian and German university professors, as the first scientific cooperation between the two universities.</p>
<p>Technical and Vocational University includes higher education certified by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and runs all technical/vocational colleges across the country. The main objective of this university is training technicians in the majors technical majors.</p>
<p>FHM is a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences and was founded in Bielefeld in 2000. Its goal has been practical qualification of specialists and executives with business management know-how for the medium-sized business sector. Its study programs includes courses in the fields of economics, media, human resources, health, social affairs as well as new engineering and tourism.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>He made the remarks on the sideline of inking a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Iran and Afghanistan and added, “the MoU was drawn up between the two countries on March 10, 2019, the issue of which will result in friendly and amicable relationship for Iran and Afghanistan.”</p>
<p>Synchronization of power grid and increasing electrical connections between Iran and Afghanistan were the main topics as highlighted in the MoU, the deputy energy minister added.</p>
<p>The MoU can cause private sectors of the two countries to be supported duly, he said, adding, “accordingly, Iran’s private sector can participate in Afghanistan’s electricity projects.”</p>
<p>In addition, this MoU can bring about suitable condition for Afghanistan to have electrical connection both with Iran and Turkmenistan, the Deputy Minister of Energy Haeri added.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The MoU was signed between the CEO of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) Mohammad Bagher Aali and the visiting Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic Eduard Muricky in Tehran on Sunday.</p>
<p>As per the agreement, an industrial workgroup between Iran and the Czech Republic will be established in IDRO headquarters and Czech Industry Ministry to expand industrial cooperation between the private and public sectors of both countries.</p>
<p>The agreement stipulates the two sides to provide the grounds for cooperation in different industrial sectors, including the like auto industry, rail transport, new technologies and energy industries.</p>
<p>Setting up joint-venture companies to expand industrial investments and renovation as well as ship-manufacturing is also stressed in the MoU.</p>
<p>During the meeting, the IDRO chief called for providing the necessary grounds for Iranian and Czech small and medium-sized enterprises to engage in the economic interactions between the two countries.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The MOU was signed during the 19th session of the Bulgarian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Industrial, Trade and Technical Cooperation and in the presence of Iran’s visiting Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami in Sofia.</p>
<p>The MOU is on standardization of ports, roads, trade chambers, etc. and is to guarantee continuous common cooperation, to unify the utilized procedures of accreditation and to develop present mutual ties.</p>
<p>As reported, the general roadmap of the commission was also signed during the same event between the Iranian and Bulgarian attending delegations.</p>
<p>Eslami, leading a delegation, left Tehran for Sofia on Wednesday to participate at the said two-day commission on April 18-19.</p>
<p>Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borissov’s Cabinet approved a draft MOU on economic cooperation with Iran as a basis for negotiations last Wednesday to specify the prospective areas of bilateral cooperation and the measures that both countries will take to expand and intensify economic cooperation.</p>
<p>On February 1, Bulgarian foreign minister voiced her country’s support for the EU’s trade mechanism aimed at facilitating trade with Iran in the face of US sanctions, saying the mechanism could strengthen economic ties between the two countries.</p>
<p>In early March, in a meeting between the visiting deputy parliament speaker of Bulgaria and Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iranian Parliament, the two sides discussed expansion of parliamentary ties.</p>

<p>He also noted that the two countries would have cooperation in PhD students and researchers exchange programs.</p>
<p>Iran, as an influential country in various fields of medicine and advanced materials technologies, can have a strong presence in a number of international nanotechnology events hosted by the Philippines, he added.</p>

<p>Two memoranda of understanding were signed between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia on Wednesday in Tehran, in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.</p>
<p>One of the MoUs was signed between Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran and Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia, while the other was inked between the High Council of Free-Industrial and Special Economic Zones of Iran and Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia.</p>
<p>Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, leading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, arrived in Tehran this morning to hold talks with senior Iranian officials.</p>

<p>She made the remark during the signing ceremony of a trilateral memorandum of understanding on wheat trade between Russia, Kazakhstan and Iran.</p>
<p>The signing ceremony took place on February 12 in Moscow, and was attended by Russian, Kazakh and Iranian deputy ministries of agriculture, as well as a member of the board (minister) for trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Veronika Nikishina.</p>
<p>The EEC minister for trade said the memorandum could become a first step toward the revival of full-fledged supply chains of high-quality wheat to both regional and Iranian markets.</p>
<p>“We need to consider this event in the context of preparations for the entry into force of the interim agreement signed in May 2018. The agreement has already been ratified by the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. We are convinced of the promise of cooperation with Iranian partners and are ready to continue the dialogue in various areas of trade and economic cooperation, and therefore we look forward to the completion of the procedures for ratification of the agreement by both the EAEU member countries and Iran,” Nikishina was quoted by <em>The Qazaq Times</em> as saying.</p>
<p>In a statement released by the EEC after the signing ceremony, it was noted that “the agreement on the signing of the memorandum became one of the results of negotiations on an interim agreement leading to the formation of a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran.”</p>

<p>She made the remark during the signing ceremony of a trilateral memorandum of understanding on wheat trade between Russia, Kazakhstan and Iran.</p>
<p>The signing ceremony took place on February 12 in Moscow, and was attended by Russian, Kazakh and Iranian deputy ministries of agriculture, as well as a member of the board (minister) for trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Veronika Nikishina.</p>
<p>The EEC minister for trade said the memorandum could become a first step toward the revival of full-fledged supply chains of high-quality wheat to both regional and Iranian markets.</p>
<p>“We need to consider this event in the context of preparations for the entry into force of the interim agreement signed in May 2018. The agreement has already been ratified by the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. We are convinced of the promise of cooperation with Iranian partners and are ready to continue the dialogue in various areas of trade and economic cooperation, and therefore we look forward to the completion of the procedures for ratification of the agreement by both the EAEU member countries and Iran,” Nikishina was quoted by <em>The Qazaq Times</em> as saying.</p>
<p>In a statement released by the EEC after the signing ceremony, it was noted that “the agreement on the signing of the memorandum became one of the results of negotiations on an interim agreement leading to the formation of a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran.”</p>

<p>During a meeting between UT’s Vice President for Research, Mohammad Rahimian, and the Senior Vice President of UPM, Renuganth Varatharajoo, in Tehran on Tuesday, the two sides agreed to conduct joint researches in the fields of “health communication” and “students’ life quality”.</p>
<p>The two projects will be concurrently carried out in Iran and Malaysia.</p>
<p>During the meeting, both sides also exchanged ideas on various topics, especially the Malaysian university’s programs on social responsibility and interaction with industry and community.</p>
<p>UPM is among Malaysia&#8217;s leading research universities offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a wide range of fields such as science, engineering, medicine, veterinary medicine, business and social science. UPM was ranked 229th best university in the world in 2017.</p>
