More than 111,000 coronavirus patients in Iran has fully recovered from the disease as of Wednesday, the Health Ministry’s spokesman announced.
Iran on Tuesday reported no new coronavirus deaths in nearly a third of its provinces for 24 hours but said there were more than another 2,100 cases of infection nationwide, according to Health Ministry.
Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour made the announcement on Monday that 70,933 Covid-19 patients have recovered from the disease in Iran.
Kianoush Jahanpour said on Sunday that Iran has developed COVID-19 rapid test kits based on antibody detection.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Iran has reached 62,589, while 27,039 have recovered from the disease, according to Health Ministry update.
