										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="ntDesc">TEHRAN (<a href="https://irannewsdaily.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Iran News</a>) &#8211; The Iranian men&#8217;s Kumite team managed to finish second at the 2019 Karate 1 Premier League in Madrid, capital city of Spain, after grabbing 2 gold and 2 Bronze medals.</p>

<p class="rtejustify">Team Iran finished the Karate 1-Premier League in Madrid, Spain, as runner-up after grabbing 2 gold and 2 Bronze medals.</p>
<p class="rtejustify">In the men’s plus 84 KG category, Sajjad Ganjzadeh snatched the gold medal after defeating his French opponent 4-nil in the final.</p>
<p class="rtejustify">Ganjzadeh had defeated his rivals from Spain, Croatia, Japan, and Chile en route to final. Ganjzadeh also managed to seal a spot in next Summer Olympic Games.</p>
<p class="rtejustify">Amir Mehdizadeh also bagged another gold medal for Iran in the men’s minus 67 Kg category. Meanwhile, Hamideh Abbasabadi and Saleh Abazari pocketed Bronze medals for Iran in the tournament.</p>
<p class="rtejustify">Kazakhstan stood in 1st place with 2 gold and 2 silver medals while Turkey finished 3rd with 1 gold, a silver, and 1 Bronze medals.</p>
<p class="rtejustify">Early in October, Iran’s National Karate Team won the prestigious Karate-1 Premier League which was held in Moscow, Russia.</p>
<p class="rtejustify">In the female competitions, Iranian karate practitioner Sara Bahmanyar snatched a gold medal in the -50kg weight class.</p>
<p class="rtejustify">Late last month, both Iranian male and female karate teams won an international Shotokan karate competition which was held in the Western Iranian province of Kermanshah.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span class="intro-text">TEHRAN – Iranian karate practitioners will leaver Tehran for Leipzig to compete at the sixth stage of Karate 1 Premier League.</span></p>

<p>The three-day event will attract as many as 1350 karate practitioners from 87 countries to the German city of Leipzig from September 08-10.</p>
<p>The Persian squad to attend the upcoming round of Karate 1 Premier League comprises 13 athletes five of whom are members of the national Iranian outfit.</p>
<p>Accordingly, Sahar Shiravani, Pegah Zanganeh, Negin Bagheri, Milad Delikhun, Sahand Eslami, Farzad Mohammadkhanlu, Ahad Shahin, Abolfazl Shahroudi, Armin Roshani, Ali Zand, Saeid Ahmadi, Amir Mahdizadeh, Ali Asghar Asiabari, Mahdi Khodabakhsh as well as Zabihollah Pourshib will represent Iran in the sportive tournament.</p>
<p>The Karate 1 Premier League is the most important league event in the world of Karate. It comprises of a number of the most prominent Karate competitions and endeavors to bring together the best Karate athletes in the world in an open championship of unprecedented scale and quality.</p>
<p>Initiated in 2011 with two tournaments held in Paris and Istanbul, the Karate1 Premier League has made exponential progress in terms of magnitude and status of the tournaments as well as the number of participants and countries represented.</p>
