TEHRAN (Iran News) The Israeli regime has targeted a vehicle in southern Lebanon, killing a Lebanese citizen, according to local news outlets.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon reported on Tuesday that an Israeli drone struck a vehicle in Aitaroun, a town in the Bint Jbeil area close to the border with occupied Palestine.

The assault resulted in the death of one Lebanese civilian and injured another.

No further details have been released yet.

Israel persists in violating the truce with Lebanon by carrying out frequent attacks on southern regions, the Bekaa, and the southern outskirts of Beirut, in addition to occupying the five disputed border points.

The Israeli drone struck a car on Deir Al-Zahrani river road, Al-Manar TV network reported.

]]> TEHRAN (Iran News) – Hezbollah downed an Israeli drone that breached Lebanese airspace over a south Lebanon border town Saturday afternoon.

In a statement late on Saturday, the Lebanese resistance movement said the drone was flying over Aita Shaab when it was downed and later seized by its fighters, Al-Manar reported.

The statement gave no details on the type of the aircraft or the means of bringing it down.

The Israeli army confirmed the news, and said there “was no concern of information being leaked.”

Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah said in September that any Israeli drone that violates the Lebanese airspace is a target for the resistance movement.

]]> “Undoubtedly, Lebanon has entered a new phase and special situation since last Sunday and the Israeli enemy is on high alert in the whole region,” the Hezbollah leader said on Saturday evening in reference to last Sunday’s attacks by Israeli regime against resistance movement’s targets in Lebanon and Syria.

Nasrallah warned the people and government of Lebanon against the enemy’s attempt to turn them against Hezbollah after the aggression, underlining that “it is our right to shoot down Israeli drones.”

“Israel must know that the Lebanese sky is not open to its drones and the resistance to sets the conditions and time and place of targeting Israeli drones in the Lebanese sky,” he further noted.

Nasrallah further added that Hezbollah has enough precision-guided missiles in Lebanon for any confrontation with Israel, while dismissing the claim that the movement possesses any factories to build those missiles in Lebanon.
