TEHRAN – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force warned regional Arab countries that Iran would make no distinction between American military bases and the countries hosting those sites if a war broke out.

In an interview with Al-Manar, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh advised the regional countries working with the U.S. and Israel to rectify their policies.

“The U.S. and the Zionist regime have not created security anywhere, and if something happens in here and a war breaks out, we will make no distinction between the U.S. base and its host country. Naturally, the very same Arab countries of the region will bear the brunt,” he warned.

General Hajizadeh reasserted that the IRGC’s missile power would never be subject to negotiations, saying, “No (Iranian) official is allowed to negotiate about the missile power, and this is our red line.”

He also noted that Iran has independently decided to restrict the range of its missiles to 2,000 kilometers, but such limitation on the range of missile is not eternal.

Reaffirming Iran’s support for whoever fighting against the Zionist regime, the commander said Gaza and Lebanon are at the forefront of the battle and all of their missile capabilities have been supported by the Islamic Republic.

“Instead of giving a fish or teaching to catch a fish, we taught our allies and friends how to make a hook,” he said, adding that they are now in possession of advanced missile technologies.

The Israeli regime is currently at a “crossroad of fire” coming from Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and other Muslim countries, General Hajizadeh said, adding that the friends of Iran are now equipped with missiles with pinpoint accuracy instead of simple rockets.

He said efforts have been made round the clock since years ago after Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei warned the Zionist regime that Haifa and Tel Aviv will be razed to the ground if Israel makes a mistake.

Hajizadeh also pointed to Iran’s retaliatory missile strike on the US base of Ain al-Assad in Iraq after the assassination of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, saying such attack destroyed the dignity of the US.

On the plans to hit back at the U.S. in January 2020 after the missile strike, the general said, “We were prepared for the American response. Our missile power was fully on alert. If they had given a response, we would have hit all of their bases from Jordan to Iraq and the Persian Gulf, even all of their warships in the Indian Ocean.”

The January 2020 missile attack on Ain al-Assad military base came in retaliation for Washington’s assassination of Lieutenant General Soleimani upon his arrival in the Iraqi capital at the invitation of the Baghdad government.

US forces initially reported no casualties, but it later emerged that at least 110 soldiers sustained traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).

TEHRAN – Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Brigadier General Esmayeel Qaani lauded the role of Martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in strengthening the Axis of Resistance, and vowed that the U.S. troops will soon leave the region.

Qaani praised the role of General Soleimani in resolving regional crises and strengthening the Resistance Front, stressing that according to the agenda of the Resistance Axis, the end of the US military presence in the region is imminent.

He made the remarks in a closed session of the Iranian Parliament on Wednesday, where he briefed the lawmakers on the details of the last year terror attack on his former boss, Martyr General Soleimani.

He emphasized the necessity of revenge for the blood of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.

Hailing the role of General Soleimani in resolving regional crises and strengthening the Axis of Resistance, Qaani said that the bones of the enemy are being crushed due to such strengthened resistance.

Referring to the remarks of IRGC Quds Force Commander Brigadier General Qaani in the closed session of Iran’s Parliament on Wednesday, parliament member Ebrahim Rezaee said, “In the first place General Qaani stressed that the U.S. must leave Iraq and the region.”

Qaani, who served as Martyr Soleimani’s deputy for more than a decade, replaced him after his assassination.

He did not go into details of his meeting with lawmakers but it was expected the meeting to be on the latest developments in Iraq and in the region.

In relevant remarks on Sunday, Iranian Parliament Speaker’s Special Aide for International Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian underlined once again that the country will certainly take a harsh revenge from the masterminds and perpetrators of the terror attack on the former IRGC Quds Force Commander, Lieutenant General Soleimani.

TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) unveiled a homegrown multiple ballistic missile launcher on Wednesday.

The automated and smart system, used for launching multiple long-range ballistic missiles, has been manufactured by the IRGC Aerospace Force.

The homegrown missile launcher system was unveiled by IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami.

“The launch of our missiles rattles the enemy. Our missile power guarantees the withdrawal of enemies,” the IRGC commander said in the unveiling ceremony.

He also said that the deterrent and defense capabilities give Iran huge power that helps the country demonstrate its political will and impose it on the enemy if necessary.

Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made great headways in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the arms sphere.

Major General Hussein Salami said, in a speech, that “the flight of our missiles will shake the enemy’s core, and their force will push the enemy to retreat.” .

The Iranian Air Force had announced that its bombers were able to destroy virtual targets of the enemies in their guerrilla maneuver.

Brigadier General Pilot Farhad Kuderzi, spokesman for the maneuvers in its ninth phase, said that “on the second day of the main and operational phase of the exercises, F-4 bombers and fighters participated in destroying the virtual targets of the enemies.”

The Iranian Armed Forces affirmed that they are prepared to face any threat, stressing that it is committed to fulfilling the orders of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

The deputy chief of the general staff of the Iranian army, Brigadier General Qara Ashtiani, said, “These maneuvers (the air force guerrillas) basically mean the crystallization of national power, and as you have seen, the army air force pilots have trained well in these maneuvers on combined methods, and proved that the air force is capable.”

Iran launched the 9th phase of these maneuvers in the Isfahan Province over the weekend, as they showcased their aerial prowess in a series of drills.

TEHRAN – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh underlined his country’s high capability in production of different military equipment, saying that Iran stands among the world’s 10 top states manufacturing radars.

“Out of 20 radar manufacturing states in the world, certainly the Islamic Iran is among the 10 ten,” General Hajizadeh said, addressing a ceremony to put into operation two home-made Ghadir-class radars in the Central and Southeastern provinces of Yazd and Kerman on Tuesday.

He added that overlapping of the radar networks developed by the Iranian Army and the IRGC is one of the major military achievements of Iran, noting that the young Iranian experts are able to produce all radars needed by the operational forces.

“The next radar will be launched in Chabahar city (in Sistan and Balouchestan province) in the next three months and the number of the Ghadir-class radars will increase to 8,” Hajizadeh said.

Referring to the scientific and executive capacity of the elite IRGC Aerospace Forces, Hajizadeh said, “Our young elite forces are able to build and provide the radars needed by the operational forces.”

Yesterday two long-range 3D Ghadir radars designed and developed by Iranian experts have joined the country’s air defense forces.

The radars were put into operation during a ceremony on Tuesday in the presence of Chief Commander of Iran’s Army Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi and Commander of the Aerospace Division of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hajizadeh.

The Ghadir radar system was first unveiled by the IRGC in 2013. Eight of them have since been installed across the country.

The phased-array radar system has been designed to identify different types of stealth aircraft and deal with electronic warfare.

It is equipped with a large combination of transmitters and receivers in a quadrilateral shape without rotation and mechanical movement, providing 360-degree coverage within a range of over 1,000 kilometers.

The first batch of the long-range sophisticated radar was stationed in a base in the city of Garmsar, Eastern Tehran, in June 2014. The second set was put into service in the Southwestern city of Ahvaz in July 2015.

Totally designed and manufactured by the Iranian military experts at the IRGC Aerospace Force, the Ghadir identifies aerial targets on the basis of 3-dimensional detection. The system enjoys nonstop monitoring capabilities.

Using low signals, Ghadir is a suitable option for electronic warfare.

With a range of nearly 1,100 kilometers, the Iranian radar system can even detect targets with pretty small cross-section areas.

As the radar system is capable of detecting small flying objects and targets at far distances, it leaves no obstruction in radar maintenance industry in Iran.

TEHRAN – The chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says Iran will definitely avenge the U.S. assassination of General Qassem Soleimani, but it will only target those who are either directly or indirectly involved in the murder.

General Hossein Salami’s remarks on Saturday came after a US publication claimed that Iran planned to assassinate the American ambassador to South Africa in retaliation, prompting both Tehran and Johannesburg to dismiss the allegation.

“Our promise of avenging the martyrdom of General Soleimani is definite, serious and real. Mr. Trump, do not doubt our revenge, because it is quite definite and serious,” Gen. Soleimani said at the joint morning ceremony of the General Staff of the IRGC.

But “we will be targeting those who were directly or indirectly involved in the martyrdom of the great general Haj Qassem Soleimani,” he said.

“Do you think we will kill a female ambassador to South Africa in exchange for the blood of our martyr brother?” Gen. Salami added.

When the U.S. assassinated Gen. Soleimani and Iraq’s top anti-terror commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis outside Baghdad airport on Jan. 3, Iran responded five days later with a volley of precision-guided ballistic missiles which pommeled the Ain al-Asad base in Iraq, where US troops were deployed.

Gen. Salami said Saturday, “We are an honorable people and fair, and we take revenge fairly and justly, which is why we did not target your soldiers at Ain al-Asad.”

A flimsy U.S. report on the Politico this week, quoting unnamed officials, claimed that Iran had sought to assassinate US Ambassador to South Africa Lana Marks in retaliation for the January assassination of the top Iranian anti-terror commander.

South Africa’s State Security Agency said Friday it had found no evidence to support US media claims that Iran was planning to assassinate Marks.

Iran has categorically rejected the “malicious and baseless” report as part of “hackneyed and outworn methods to create Iranophobic atmosphere” by the U.S.

Gen. Salami on Saturday dealt with the threat, pledging that Iranian missiles are ready to rain down on U.S. troops.

“While you are severely plagued by your own internal problems, you are threatening us with a thousand-fold attack, but when we struck Ayn al-Asad, our assumption and prediction was not that you would not answer, but we were absolutely assuming that you would respond, and that we had hundreds of missiles ready to fire, and if you answered, we would destroy the intended targets.

“It is the same today, and if a hair sheds from an Iranian, we will blow away all your fleece and wool,” the top general said, using a Persian catchphrase.

“These threats are serious and we do not wage a verbal war and put everything to action,” the top general added.

“The Americans should know that we will strike anyone who was involved in the cowardly assassination of General Soleimani, and this is a serious message,” Gen. Salami said on Saturday.

TEHRAN – Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) is conducting large-scale aerial and naval drills off the strategic Strait of Hormuz and in the Persian Gulf, with the country’s first domestic multi-purpose satellite monitoring the process.

According to the IRGC’s Sepah News, the final phase of the exercises, codenamed Payambar-e A’zam (The Great Prophet) 14, kicked off on Tuesday across land, air and sea in the general area of Hormozgan Province, west of the Hormuz Strait and in the Persian Gulf.

Several units from IRGC’s Navy and Aerospace Division are taking part in the maneuvers, which feature missiles, vessels, drones, and radars, and are designed to practice both offensive and defensive missions.

The IRGC forces are slated to conduct missile, drone and mine-planting operations against mock enemy targets during the drills. They are also scheduled to practice tactics to cut off the connection lines of enemy vessels.

Meanwhile, combat helicopters will target enemy positions with coast-to-sea missiles.

Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan, the maneuvers’ spokesman, said during the exercises, “the interception of ballistic and cruise missiles has been drilled, while surprising weapons and hardware — including long-range ballistic missiles capable of striking intruding vessels floating at a distance — are being used.”

For the first time, the drills are being monitored by Iran’s Nour-1 (Light-1) Satellite, which was put into orbit on April 22.

Nour-1 is the country’s first multi-purpose satellite with application in the defense industry, among other areas.

The launch operation was carried out by the IRGC’s Aerospace Division, which said the country’s aerospace program was expected to gather pace following the launch.

Meanwhile Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami said the force improves its weaponry considering the strengths and weaknesses of the enemies.

He made the remarks on the sidelines of an IRGC military exercise, titled as the Great Prophet-14 military drill, in Strait of Hormuz.

“Our policies for safeguarding the interests of the Iranian nation is defensive meaning that we will not attack any country,” he said noting that however, the forces are offensive in their operations and tactics.

“Our defense doctrine relies on the manufacturing indigenous equipment. In each military exercise, the quality of the equipment is upgraded and the new equipment is tested and used in the real battlefield,” he said.

The IRGC commander noted that the drill has been started to ensure the body’s capability in protecting the benefits of the Iranian nation.

He added that the enemies’ naval flotilla will be invaded if they pose a threat against Iran.

As reported, ‘surprising weapons’ such long-range ballistic missiles have been launched during the named military drill in the south of Iran, which is jointly being carried out by IRGC Navy and Aerospace.

The military exercise is based upon plans for fighting hybrid warfare and network-oriented combats proportional to the IRGC’s offense doctrine.

IRGC Navy’s missile, vessel, and drones units and IRGC Aerospace’s missile, drone, were radar units conducted operations.

Waging attacks against virtual enemy using missiles, ships, and drones, laying defensive mines, cutting the communication between virtual enemy’s ships, launching rockets from helicopters, and launching coast-to-sea missiles were among agenda of this stage of the drill.

TEHRAN – Head of Iranian Civil Defense Organization described the chemical attacks by Saddam’s regime in the cities of Sardasht and Halabja as a chemical holocaust, saying that European countries that helped Saddam to produce these weapons should be held accountable today.

Speaking at the National Conference on Chemical Defense held in Tehran on Sunday, Brigadier-General Gholam-Reza Jalali said: “Prohibition of the production and stockpiling chemical weapons in the world must have executive requirements.”

“Today we still witness the use of chemical weapons against the people. For example, ISIS used chemical weapons against the Iraqi people, and everyone knows what countries created the terrorist group,” head of Iranian Civil Defense Organization added.

He went on to say that the conventions prohibiting the production and accumulation of chemical weapons are not being implemented, and the United States and European countries are producing and stockpiling them, so an organization like the International Atomic Energy Agency must be set up in the chemical field to prevent this.

The official also criticized the performance of international institutions such as the fact-finding committees for chemical attacks because they do not disclose the behind-the-scenes production and sale of chemical weapons.

General Jalali referred to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s fatwa regarding the ban on the production and stockpiling weapons of mass destruction and said: “Iran has an economic and defensive approach toward the chemical industry.” The chemical industry is the engine of the country’s economy, and Iran is now one of the hubs of petrochemicals and chemicals, he noted. With an industrial and economic view in this industry, Iran has been able to create jobs in this field, the official concluded.

Meanwhile addressing the ceremony, the senior aide and adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that the West and international organizations were silent against the biggest chemical attack in history.

Major General Yahya Rahim-Safavi referred to the chemical bombing of Sardasht and Halabja by Saddam’s regime, saying, “Today, the chemical bombing of Halabja is the largest chemical attack in history in terms of geographical area, but at that time the world’s mass media remained silent about this incident and the United States, Europe, and the international organizations showed a green light to it.”

Having 8000 martyrs and 107,000 veterans due to chemical attacks, Iran has been one of the biggest victims of chemical attacks in the world, he noted.

Referring to Iran’s strategies in the face of chemical and microbial threats, former Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) stressed the need to develop infrastructure and use modern technology, strengthen the training sector and build the necessary equipment to deal with this type of threat.

“To better deal with chemical and microbial threats, it is necessary to develop relations with other countries,” General Safavi added.

“In the fight against the coronavirus, Iran has been able to succeed with the role played by the armed forces along with other organizations, and these experiences must be transferred to other countries,” the official concluded.

The National Conference on Chemical Defense was held in Tehran on Sunday on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the chemical attack on Sardasht with the attendance of senior military officials of Iran, including the senior aide and adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Major General Yahya Rahim-Safavi and Head of Iranian Civil Defense Organization Brigadier-General Gholam-Reza Jalali.

According To Iran News, Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it plans to set up a “permanent base” in the Indian Ocean in order to expand its presence across world oceans as per a directive by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

The Leader has tasked the corps with maintaining a presence in the waters that lie far away from the country, obligating such a presence to be a permanent one, IRGC Navy Commander Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri told Fars news agency from the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, the agency reported on Monday.

The presence would seek to utilize the capacities that are owned by the country’s strategic naval force, the commander said.

Accordingly, the IRGC “is planning to create a permanent base in the Indian Ocean and will operationalize this by the end of the Persian calendar year” in March 2021, he added.

The Islamic Republic’s Navy has repeatedly conducted maritime assignments, Tangsiri noted, adding the IRGC Navy has so far dispatched two naval groups to the Indian Ocean.

The IRGC Navy boasts a 35-year history of defending the country’s territorial waters against acts of mischief by foreign naval forces, including recurrent instances, when it has warned away the United States Navy’s transgressing vessels or unprofessional and provocative behavior.

The commander recalled how pirates and some foreign vessels had, in the past, created disturbances for Iranian trawlers and dhows in the Sea of Oman and the entrance to the Indian Ocean.

“Through its powerful presence in the Sea of Oman and the Indian Ocean, the Corps will no longer leave any room for such acts of infringement,” he asserted.

The Corps has carried out all the detailed planning and calculations that are required to enable “a powerful and steadfast presence” in the oceanic area in order to further empower Iranian fishermen’s future activities there, Tangsiri concluded.

According To Iran News, The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force dismissed the groundless claim made by Turkish officials that the PKK terrorists are on Iranian soil near the common border.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a visit to military bases in northwestern Iran on Saturday, Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour denied as “irresponsible and baseless” the allegations made by a Turkish official that the PKK elements are on Iranian soil.

A few days ago, Interior Minister of Turkey Suleyman Soylu had claimed that there are around 100 “terrorists” in Iran’s Dambat, near Turkey, which “constitutes a real danger.”

In response, the IRGC general said, “There is very good and fruitful interaction between the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey along the common border. Thus, the officials of the friendly and neighbor state of Turkey are expected to make contacts with the Islamic Republic of Iran through official channels after verifying the authenticity of an incident and before making any media comment about border incidents, and to pursue such issues according to the arranged mechanisms.”

The commander also said that the IRGC Ground Force is in charge of security in Iran’s northwestern areas, is vigorously present along the border with full preparedness, and is closely and constantly monitoring the situation across the border regions.

The presence of terrorist elements is among the red lines of Iran, Pakpour stressed, adding, “However, we understand that the recent operations by small (terrorists) groups on the Turkish soil have mounted pressure on the Turkish officials and have forced them to raise such a claim.”

TEHRAN – Judiciary’s spokesman Gholam-Hossein Esmaeili Mahmoud Mousavi Majd who was linked with CIA and Mossad and has provided them with intelligence from security bodies, especially armed forces like IRGC was sentenced to death.

Esmaeili stated that Mousavi Majd had disclosed information on the location of Iranian military sites and commanders.

He added that the convict had connections with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Israeli espionage service Mossad.

In exchange for receiving dollars, the spy gathered intelligence for the CIA and Mossad on the Iranian security sphere and Armed Forces, including on the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Forces.

On the release of Michael White, an American citizen from prison, he said, “This was a humanitarian action within the framework of laws and regulations and Iran also tried to free innocent Iranians by releasing Michael White.”

Esmaeli added, “The Judiciary’s contribution to the release of American prisoners helped the release of some of our innocent compatriots who were imprisoned in the United States.”

The spokesman referred to the leniencies given to the release of American prisoner and said: “This person (Michael White) also had a private plaintiff (relator), and after the consent of the complainant, leniencies were considered for this prisoner.”

He added,” White had AIDS and it was possible that a problem would happen to him, but fortunately it did not. He with a serious illness was imprisoned in such a way that not only did his illness not worsen, but he also went through a process of recovery and was released.”

Esmaeili added: “The issue of prisoners and detainees is the responsibility of the judiciary, and without the permission of the judiciary, there will be no talk of releasing prisoners, and it is better those who are not responsible for this do not promise the release of foreign prisoners. The judiciary itself decides which prisoner can be released, but we use the views of the Supreme National Security Council.”

On the Ukrainian passenger plane crash, the spokesman said, 6 people have been arrested in this regard.

He also urged government officials to avoid giving any promise on the release of other prisoners without coordination with the Judiciary.
