Russia's Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov reacted to the IAEA’s request from Iran for clarification or access to additional locations for taking environmental samples.

Iran’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna said the Islamic Republic is preventing a new dangerous precedent in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) whose purpose is to lend authenticity to fake reports from espionage services.

IAEA monitoring and verification of the implementation of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal continues in the country.

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi called on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to guarantee that international cooperation with Iran on nuclear security issues will continue unabated.

Ali Larijani warned that in case of unfair behavior of the European parties to the 2015 nuclear deal, the Islamic Republic will take “a serious decision” on its ongoing cooperation with IAEA.
