Chief of General Staff of Iranian Armed Force, Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri said on Wednesday that after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) downed an intruding US Global Hawk spy drone, the US was on the verge of attacking Iran but called off plans because of Iran's deterrence power.
