Human rights and freedom of expression are two words which are being mistranslated in the world by countries and everyone has his own definition of these two words but it seems the Westerners have the most strangest definitions and when it comes to them, the meaning of those words totally change in favor of them.

In recent decades and in particular the meaning of these two worlds have been totally changed by the Westerners and they have been using their own definitions to dictate themselves on other countries especially the independent ones.

For years we have been watching what is going in countries like Palestine and Yemen and many people have been suffering from the atrocities of the Zionists and Saudi-led coalition but the West has just been watching or even supporting the invaders than supporting the oppressed people of Palestinian and Yemenis.

Everyday some reports regarding the crimes of the Zionist regime are published in the media and the Zionist regime continues its killing spree against the Palestinians but the only reaction from the UN and international bodies is to watch or to issue a useless statements but when it comes to the riots or violence in countries like Iran and China, they act differently and resort to the harshest resolutions and   decisions.

We have not forgotten recent decisions from the UN against Russia in support of Ukraine which happened almost unanimously but this international body does not give a damn to what goes in Yemen and Palestine.

The recent riots in Iran is another proof for this double standard approach by the international bodies regarding the independent countries as all have been mobilized to punish the Islamic Republic of Iran while the country is trying to curb the riots in the country.

When such riot happen in countries like the U.S., UK, France, Germany or any ally of the West, it is translated as violence and riot but when it happens in Iran, China, Russia or Venezuela, suddenly its meaning changes and becomes freedom of expression and human rights and this is the main reason that we say we are living in a strange country with a strange freedom lover.

Reacting to recent stand of the West regarding the riots in Iran, Iran’s Foreign Ministry advised the West to rather stop hosting anti-Iran terrorists instead of portraying the Islamic Republic’s response to recent Western-backed riots inside the country in a bad light.

The ministry made the comments in a tweet thread on Thursday in reaction to back-to-back aggressive and interventionist remarks, which Western officials have been posting on the social media platform against the Islamic Republic and its lawful answer to the riots.

“In countering riots, Iran’s shown utmost restraint – unlike many Western regimes who smear violently crackdown even the peaceful protesters – Iran has employed proportionate & standard anti-riot methods,” the ministry tweeted on Thursday.

“The same is true for the judicial process: restraint & proportionality,” it added.

Foreign-backed violence and riots erupted across Iran in September after the tragic death in police custody of a young Iranian woman, named as Mahsa Amini.

The unfortunate incident was immediately picked up by Western-based media outlets and officials, who — without providing any convincing evidence — started claiming that the woman had been “murdered” by police forces.

The West sheds crocodile tear for Iranian protesters and people or any other nation in the world and it acts based on their own interests rather than helping the nations and now the West has resorted to interventionist remarks and acts to fan the flame of the riots in the country in order to destabilize the government and the country to materialize its vicious goals in Iran and the region.

Some Iranian officials are right that the West envies the progresses which have been achieved by the Islamic Republic of Iran in recent decades because it does not want Iran to become a strong power in the region and the world which stands firmly against the arrogant powers.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has experienced many turbulences since its first day of existence and it will also pass this turbulence, and it will show the West and arrogant countries that Tehran has found its way towards prosperity and success and nobody can stop this train from reaching its destination which is prosperity for all people in the country and the world in any sphere, and riots like what is going in Iran now are unable to stop the country from reaching this goal; and the West is better not bother itself with changing the definitions of the words because the nations will not be fooled as they really know what the human rights or freedom of expression means and they do not need any definition from the West because what the West does is “translating the words in favor of itself” and ignores the real meaning and rights of others and the Islamic Republic of Iran is a victim of this mistranslation; but it will fight to show the world the translation of the West from words of freedom of expression and human rights is totally wrong whiles the West has turned the world into a strange world and has become a strange freedom lover.

The 18th General Assembly of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) officially kicked off in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Monday.

Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Ali Naderi delivered a speech in the opening ceremony of the OANA summit on Monday.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the media as a tool for the promotion of truth and freedom for all countries of the world,” Esmaili said at the meeting.

Today, media is no longer a tool of power, it is power itself, Esmaili said, adding that the media can be either in service of happiness for mankind and peace or a means of oppression, injustice, and division.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran supports popular, right-seeking and free media, Esmaeili added.

Holding the OANA Summit in Tehran has several important messages for the world, the Iranian minister said, adding that this shows that the country enjoys peace and it is moving in the direction of development and progress.

The other message is the active presence and participation of people in all affairs of the country, he added.

Referring to the participation of 50 news agencies from all the regional countries and the Asian continent at the Tehran meeting, he said, “This shows that Iran, as one of the leading countries in the region, has a high capacity in the media field.”

Speaking to media on the sidelines of the meeting, Esmaili said Iran will file a lawsuit against anti-Iran adversary Persian language TVs based in Europe and North America for spreading lies and fomenting riots in Iran, adding that the case will be pursued through legal organizations including the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant apparatuses.

Since 2016 when Donald Trump stunned the world and won the U.S. presidential race, the meaning of freedom of expression for two major ruling political parties in this country has changed as they are unable to tolerate each other and they trade barbs and exchange of abusive words especially for supporting Trump or the current President Joe Biden and this American style of freedom of expression has exposed the country’s true nature.

On Thursday, U.S. President Joe Biden slammed his predecessor Donald Trump, calling him and his Republican supporters a threat to America’s democracy.

In a prime-time speech on Thursday in Philadelphia, Biden said Trump and his “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) supporters had no regard for the rule of law or the Constitution and were undermining democracy by fanning the flames of political violence.

He said a majority of Republicans don’t support “extreme ideology,” but the party was “dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.”

The Democratic president warned that the Republican Party was currently being “dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans,” who he insisted represented an “extreme ideology” that threatened the United States.

The U.S. president also accused Trump and his supporters of disregarding the law, trying to undermine free elections and doing damage to the country in terms of personal rights and freedoms.

“MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They did not believe in the rule of law. They did not recognize the will of the people,” Biden said. “They refused to accept the results of a free election,” he added, suggesting that MAGA Republicans will once again “try to steal the elections” in the 2022 midterms and the 2024 presidential election.

Reacting to Biden’s remarks Trump called his predecessor Biden “insane, or suffering from late-stage dementia” after the latter accused Trump and his diehard right-wing supporters of being a threat to the United States.

On Friday, the former president responded claiming the mental health of 79-year-old Biden was in decline and he should not be in the post of the president of the United States.

Trump wrote in a disparaging post on his Truth Social account, “Someone should explain to Joe Biden, slowly but passionately, that MAGA means, as powerfully as mere words can get, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! If he doesn’t want to Make America Great Again, which through words, action, and thought, he doesn’t, then he certainly should not be representing the United States of America.”

Trump described Biden’s speech to the nation as “awkward and angry”, adding that Biden “must be insane, or suffering from late stage dementia!”

The war of words between the current and former presidents have pushed the country towards division and collapse as well as undermining the so-called freedom of expression because politicians do not tolerate remarks of other sides whether they are right or wrong.

Trump has claimed vote rigging in the 2020 presidential election something which made angry Biden and his party, and since then Biden and his party by the support of big social media and technology companies have tried to silence Trump and his fans through filtering him, attacking him or calling them fascist. No one confirms or defends Trump’s remarks, claims and behaviors but if we talk about freedom of expression, Biden and his team should convince the Americans practically rather than verbal attack because what Biden does helps Trump and his fans  to revive and re-emerge as a contender with more support in the next presidential election. The Democrat-oriented technology companies first suspended Trump’s account in Twitter under pretext of spreading violence and now it is reported that Google has blocked Trump’s own social media app Truth from App Store again under the same pretext.  So it seems freedom of expression turns into a laughing matter in this country.

Biden and mainly the Democrats have always claimed supporting human rights issues and freedom of expression but practically they act otherwise and the Democrat rulers have had the worst performance in both issues. When it comes to other countries, they attack rulers of other countries for not observing freedom of expression or human rights issues but they themselves ignore all the principles that they claim following them.

For example Americans raised a cry and hue when the Indian-born author Salman Rushdie was attacked by someone in recent weeks. They condemned the attacker and mostly Iran and Muslims under pretext of defending freedom of expression but Americans themselves ignore any human right or freedom of expression on their own soil and remain silent or interpret the act differently.

It seems freedom of expression in the U.S. is running out of steam and this country unlike its claim is declining in observing human rights issues and it seems the country is on course to decline as Biden has mentioned, the country is divided and any moment we can see such laughing stuff from any American official.

So people in the world are recommended not to set the West and mainly the U.S. as their model for their countries because the West is more bark than action.

While many countries in the world were marking the martyrdom anniversary of the third imam of Shiites, Imam Hussein (AS), some people desecrated the Holy Quran in front of the Islamic Centre of Hamburg on Sunday.

German police forces, who were present in the place, did not take any action to prevent the blasphemous act, which is prohibited under Germany’s law, nor reacted to those who committed it.

This blasphemous act is a clear example of sedition and spreading hatred and is categorically condemned by all Muslims, monotheists …and those who believe in coexistence and interfaith dialogue.

This is not the first time that Holy Quran and Islam suffers desecration and this time it happened while the Zionists had launched a savage attack against the Palestinians and Shiites worldwide were commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS). It seems this blasphemous act has been committed intentionally to provoke Muslims in order to distract them from what was happening in Gaza Strip by the Zionists. Of course this type of insult is committed under the name of freedom of expression in order to silence those who react to such insults.

In recent years, the number of such blasphemous acts against Muslims and their beliefs has been on the rise in Europe, and racist attitude of Westerners should be blamed for such acts. Each time European judiciary or security officials ignore punishing the offenders and this attitude emboldens anti-Islam acts.

The Zionists and their lackeys should be mainly blamed for such anti-Islam acts because they fear about spread of Islamic values and religion in the world as the number of the Islam believers is on the rise and this is what enemies of Islam do not like it.

The enthusiasm for Islam and Islamic values has gained momentum worldwide especially since the emergence of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and this new phenomenon has encouraged other nations to pursue the valuable principles of the Islamic Revolution which are based on Islamic rules.

In April 2022, city of Norrkoping in Sweden witnessed one of the deadliest clashes and protests which was ignited by insulting the Holy Quran. More than 40 people were arrested in the clashes while three people were injured when police forces fired warning shots at rioters.

The violence was sparked by a series of rallies organized by the Danish-Swedish politician Rasmus Paludan. Sweden’s national police chief, Anders Thornberg, said he had never seen such violent riots following Sunday’s clashes in Norrkoping, which is about 160km (99 miles) south-west of Stockholm, and nearby Linkoping.

The two cities also witnessed riots, along with the Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby and the western city of Orebro. There was also a riot in the southern city of Malmo because of such provokation. Such insults against Islam have been seen in Europe especially in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany and France through offensive remarks and drawing caricatures of Islamic figures like Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). We have not yet forgotten French Magazine Charlie Hebdo’s insulting caricature about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) under the title of freedom of expression which caused protests in France and in the world but the offenders escaped unpunished.

Such passiveness or support of offenders emboldens them to continue insulting Islam and make Muslims resort to violent actions, and later Muslims will be blamed and Islam will be shown as the violent religion while Islam is religion of mercy and friendship but it does not mean that everybody is allowed to insult Islam and offender should be blamed and punished.

So Muslims in the world in the current era should be vigilant because enemies of Islam are trying to provoke them for creating rifts and violence and any moment we should expect such a blasphemy to enrage Muslims because enemies are angry over spread of Islam as the savior religion in the world and Muslims should deal with such offences with wise and calculated response and unity among Muslims is the winning card for them against any plot as Islam has always called on Muslims for unity and urged them to avoid division and sparseness .

Iranians have categorically condemned the desecration of the Holy Quran and Islamic sanctities in Germany, urging the country to put an end to such moves, as they have called on Muslims to have proper response to it.

So desecration is a weapon which is used against Islam and Muslims, and Muslims need its own weapons to thwart effect of desecration that unity will be one of them.

On last Tuesday, the U.S. authorities seized a range of Iran’s state-linked news website domains they accused of spreading disinformation. The move appeared to be a far-reaching crackdown on Iranian media amid heightened tensions between the two countries while the U.S. officials have announced their will to rejoin the JCPOA.

This move comes at a time that even American people and politicians are unhappy with the policies of the U.S. Administration and even major tech companies dealing with social media platforms because of imposing restrictions.

The U.S. as the so-called torch-bearer of freedom of expression cannot tolerate any criticism against the country while it pokes its nose in the domestic affairs of other countries through their media outlets especially by the social media platforms.

We have not yet forgotten what former U.S. President Donald Trump has said about the freedom of expression in the U.S. by attacking the big technological companies which serve the system in suppressing any opposition voice and criticism and even his accounts have been suspended by some social media platforms only because he is critical of the current system.

The U.S. Justice Department said 33 of the seized websites were used by the Iranian Islamic Radio and Television Union, which was singled out by the U.S. government last October for what officials described as efforts to spread disinformation and sow discord among American voters ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

The U.S. says three other seized websites were operated by the Iraqi Shiite paramilitary group, Kata’ib Hizballah, which more than a decade ago was designated a foreign terrorist organization. The group is separate from the Lebanese militant Hezbollah group whose news websites remained operational.

We see that any website belonging to the resistance groups and freedom-seeking countries has been seized by the U.S.

The U.S. expects all the media outlets and the countries obey it with closed-eyes but it should know this fact that the era of slavery and blindly obeying the world arrogance has ended and the world people is waking up and soon the Americans may be forced to shut down many media outlets or restricting them because of their criticism against the U.S. despotic manner.

Reacting to measure of the U.S. Department of Justice to block the website of Press TV, Al-Alam, Al-Kawthar and Al-Masira with irrational and false excuses, Islamic Radios and Television Union in a statement while condemning the move, called it as the sign of U.S. inability to fight against the spread of truth.

Condemning the move, the statement said: “Being present in the forefront against U.S. terrorist policies is source of pride and honor.”

The statement continued to say that this all dedicated the best active and at the same time effective role of the member media of the Union to support the oppressed nations, Palestinian issue and raising awareness of the nations despite having limited financial resources.

Elsewhere the statement also called the seizure of websites used by the Iranian Islamic Radio and Television Union the sign of the U.S. administration’s inability to fight and tolerate the spread of the truth by the websites and the networks which are trying to reflect their real mischievous face around the globe and cutting their hands off the region.

“The United States of America have always provided justification for its intervention in the world under the pretext of so-called- human rights. It is also trying to shut the mouths of freedom-seeking people and suppressing their voices, so that it tries to legitimize its crimes,” it added.

The statement also stressed that U.S. unilateral dominance over the world of technology would not last for long and the U.S. policy to suppress the media and filtering the truth would fail.

The statement concluded that the immoral measure by U.S. would be dealt with properly and all of the blocked websites would be restored and back to their normal activity through rich experience in this regard.

The U.S. Administration should take into consideration this saying “Truth Will Prevail” and it should also know that it will not be able suppress freedom of expression or silence the criticisms forever and it should stop taking such cheap measures for distracting the public opinion about the events in the Western countries and especially in the U.S. where people are suffering from racism, discrimination and above all the injustice.

The U.S. officials accuse the Islamic Republic of Iran of suppressing freedom of expression while they are themselves the main violator of human rights and freedom of expression.

The blocking of web domains is not only a flagrant violation of international laws, but also shows that the world’s so-called ‘superpower’ has faced crushing defeat in its information war against Iran and Iran and other freedom-loving countries and groups will keep on fighting to expose the true nature of the West and their so-called claim of defending human rights and freedom of expression.
