TEHRAN (Iran News) – Explaining the necessities and requirements of the revolutionary reconstruction of the cultural structure of the country, President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi emphasized, “In addition to the headquarters and the center for the implementation and follow-up of this huge plan, which is obliged to report on the implementation of this plan in a continuous and regular manner, I will personally pursue the implementation and progress of this plan”.

Speaking at the “Logic of Revolutionary Reconstruction of the Country’s Cultural Structure” conference, Raisi referred to the proposal of the necessity of this reconstruction by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution at the beginning of the work of the Popular Administration, and said, “The proposal of this demand and necessity is a proof of concern of the Supreme Leader towards the issues and cultural field of the country, which has always been under attack”.

Stating that the importance of culture comes from its identity formation and authority creation, the President added, “Today’s identity and authority of Islamic Iran originates from our rich culture, which has been under attack not only today but always”.

Raisi stated that the intellectuals, the educated and the elites of the society are the main guardians of monitoring the developments and they should identify the harms before others and warn them in time and provide solutions to solve them before others, saying, “Throughout the long history of our country, there have always been compassionate people who identified harms before the general public, warned about them and took action to resolve them, and this procedure is basically the indicator and criterion for identifying elites and intellectuals”.

The President stated, “Growth and progress in this system should naturally be culture-oriented, and basically, culture should be the flagship of any progress. The dynamism and transformation in all spheres and arenas of the Islamic Republic of Iran system is due to the centrality of culture”.

Raisi stated that this explains the position and importance of culture and structure in the Islamic Republic system, and pointed out, “The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, with his accurate understanding of the position and importance of culture, demanded the revolutionary reconstruction of the country’s cultural structure. This demand arose from a social necessity, the realization of which requires a sense of responsibility and a different movement than before”.

The President added, “Every revolutionary movement, as stated by the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, relies on rationality and wisdom in its heart”.

He said, “The realization of this reconstruction requires a revolutionary outlook with emphasis on the principles and foundations of the Islamic revolution, which Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader presented and explained, and our martyrs have established these principles and foundations with their blood”.

Raisi added, “In the path of realizing this reconstruction of cultural structures, it is not necessary to redo all the work, including in the field of research, because many research and pathological works have been done in many cultural centers, which should be taken into consideration and the same work should continue”.

The President stated, “In this path, we have a huge system of cultural views of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution at our disposal, which we must use to draw the current situation and the desired situation and take advantage of the solutions to close the gap between these two”.

Raisi stated, “It is very important to be able to eliminate inconsistencies and interferences and, although to a small extent, and sometimes reduce conflicts as much as possible”.

The President stated that today and in the era of virtual space, new requirements must be carefully considered and taken into account, and pointed out, “The inclusion of new requirements in cultural reconstruction must happen with the participation of people, especially the young”.

He added, “Progressing things in the field of culture cannot be done only with directives and instructions, and it requires persuasion and removal of possible doubts, because when people are persuaded in this field, the decisions will be institutionalized and their implementation will be guaranteed in some way”.

Ayatollah Raisi emphasised the need for cultural decisions to have persuasive, media and cultural attachments and added, “Even when decisions are made in the cultural field, their implementation needs cultural attachments because these attachments will guarantee a deeper impact of these decisions”.

Raisi stated, “Another necessity for success in the reconstruction of the cultural structure is to determine precise and clear ratios between official and unofficial institutions in the field of culture and education”.

The President also emphasized the necessity of revising the existing laws in accordance with the evolution of the structures and added, “This importance, which was also emphasized by the Supreme Leader of the Revolution in the field of revising the laws, should be taken into consideration”.

Ayatollah Raisi noted, “Development of media literacy and, more precisely, virtual literacy for all people and pillars of society is another necessity that should be taken into consideration”.

The President said, “The Supreme Leader of the Revolution has always emphasised on the great capacity of women to play a social role. It is also necessary to become more active in radio and television, which has a great responsibility in this field”.

He added that the organization of cultural interaction patterns is another important necessity in the field of realizing the transformation of the country’s cultural structure and added, “Just as in the field of diplomacy we emphasize on expanding relations with friendly countries and standing against hostile countries, in the cultural field we must also interact with the cultures of other countries”.

The President stated, “In the current storm in the field of cyber and cognitive warfare today, a country that relies on rich cultural foundations has no worries and is not harmed. If we rely on our rich cultural foundations, we will not be afraid of machine development and technological progress”.

He noted, “The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution provided the necessary guidelines, and I, as a seminary student, tell you as the officials of different departments, that you are obliged to follow these guidelines with a sense of serious responsibility”.

At the end of his speech, Ayatollah Raisi stated that periodic and regular reports on the extent of the revolutionary transformation of the country’s cultural structures can keep this huge project up to date and map the future path more precisely.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – President Hassan Rouhani said in a message to the 3rd International Gundi-Shapour Congress on Tuesday that science and culture are the longstanding common dialogue for proximity among nations, the common dialogue was upheld by ancient Iranians sponsors of the oldest university – Gundi Shapour.

In his written message to the congress, Rouhani thanked all scientists and students from Iran and other countries who attended the event to commemorate the 1750th anniversary of Gundi Shapour University, as the world’s oldest university.

Rouhani described scientific and cultural ties between nations as being ‘most lasting and most durable’, stating that the broader these ties are, the deeper the sympathy and friendship among the nations become.

Referring to the registration of Gundi Shapour as the world’s oldest university by UNESCO, the President said that it’s proof that Iranians since ancient times have been heralding science and friendship.

He also underlined that Iranians today, following their ancestors, placed two occasions in their national days: ‘The day of dialog and constructive interaction with the world’ and ‘The day of non-violence and non-extremism.’

“I believe the only durable and lasting way for proximity among nations is to return to lucid sources of science and culture, the same as our ancestors in Iran did by establishing the world’s oldest university,” Rouhani added.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – On September 23, 2020, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev made a report in his 75th General Assembly of the United Nations speech. During his speech, he put forward a number of important international initiatives on the need to develop and to adopt an International Code on voluntary commitments of states during a pandemic, to increase attention to the global problem of poverty, to adopt a special resolution of the UN General Assembly on declaring the Aral Sea region as a zone of environmental innovations, technologies, etc.

It should be noted that in his report, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan also focused on the holding, together with UNESCO, the International Forum “Central Asia at the Crossroads of World Civilizations” in the city of Khiva in 2021.

The historical city of Khiva, located in the Khorezm region and one of the main pearls of modern Uzbekistan, has almost completely retained its historical appearance. The rich heritage that has survived to this day makes this city one of the most interesting cities in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.

“Ichan Kala”, the inner fortress city of Khiva, was the first World Heritage Site in Uzbekistan, included in the UNESCO list in 1990. “Ichan-Kala” is the largest surviving fortified city in Central Asia.

Therefore, the city of Khiva was not accidentally proposed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev as the venue for the International Forum “Central Asia at the Crossroads of World Civilizations” in 2021.

By the way, many Iranians are well aware that in one of the historical cities of Uzbekistan, in Khiva, there is the famous architectural complex of the Pakhlavan Mahmud mausoleum, which is widely known in Iran as “Pourya-ye Vali”. Many athletes from Iran, especially wrestlers, greatly respect the personality of Pakhlavan Mahmud as their spiritual mentor.

It is noteworthy that in June 2019, the famous Iranian athlete-hero Reza Gheitasi and the filming crew of the Iranian TV channel “Shoma” took part in the First International Tournament “Games of Heroes”, which was held in the ancient city of Khiva.

The prepared documentaries were widely shown on such Iranian TV channels as “Shoma”, “Sports News”, “Jam-e Jam”, “Mostanad” and others.

As you know, Uzbekistan is rich in historical architectural masterpieces and centuries-old traditions. On its territory are located some of the most ancient cities on the planet, some of which are more than 2.7 thousand years old. The surviving monuments are of value not only for the Uzbek people, but also for all mankind as a whole.

On the territory of Uzbekistan, there are 8208 immovable objects of material cultural heritage, of which 4748 are archeological monuments, 2250 architectural monuments, 678 monuments of monumental art and 532 sights.

Currently, the UNESCO World Heritage List included four material objects – the historical centers of Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand and Shakhrisabz. More than 30 properties are in the process of being included in this list.

Since time immemorial, Central Asia has been a place of historical meetings and spiritual enrichment of different peoples, cultures and religions.

Due to its central role on the Great Silk Road, the region served as an important link in international trade, cultural, scientific and intellectual exchange.

The peoples of the region play an important role as a connecting link between Asia and Europe, which contributed to the spread of letter writing and world religions, technical achievements, dialogue between the civilizations of the East and West.

The scale of the contribution of the peoples who lived and worked in Central Asia is still not fully studied.

In the popularization of this huge civilization contribution of Central Asia to the development of world culture and science, a special role belongs to Uzbekistan, which is the heart of Central Asia in geographical, cultural, historical and spiritual terms.

Realizing the commonality of history, cultures and traditions, as well as the indivisibility of security, from the first years of independence, Uzbekistan played a key, positive and responsible role in matters of interethnic relations in Central Asia.

Strengthening cultural, humanitarian and spiritual ties is one of the most important factors in the implementation of the new regional course of Uzbekistan in Central Asia, carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

On his initiative, a number of important projects are being implemented in this country on conservation, scientific research, popularization and rational use of objects of material cultural heritage. These initiatives find the full support of the international community. Indeed ancient monuments with a long history testify that the cities of Uzbekistan have been the cradle of science and culture since ancient times.

The careful preservation of this heritage for future generations requires high responsibility from all, as it is the property of not only the peoples of the region, but also of all mankind.

The initiative of President Sh. M. Mirziyoyev to hold, jointly with UNESCO the International Forum “Central Asia at the Crossroads of World Civilizations” in Khiva in 2021, which received the support of the wider world community, will be another significant event in the popularization of the huge Islamic historical heritage of the large region of Central Asia.

In general, the initiative to hold the International Forum “Central Asia at the Crossroads of World Civilizations” will also allow:

– to reiterate the huge contribution of the peoples of Uzbekistan and other countries of Central Asia to the development of world civilization;

– to increase the interest of the international scientific community in the study of the scientific and intellectual heritage of the peoples of Central Asia.

Abbas Salehi made the statement in his message on September 20 on the occasion of 40th anniversary of the Sacred Defense Week (starting September 21), ISNA wrote.

“This pure moral and human value requires attention and efforts of responsible people and culture lovers so that they do not spare any effort in transferring these concepts to the next generations.”

Showing honorable defense of Iranians during the eight years of the Sacred Defense (1980-1988) in cultural fields is among the achievements of Iran’s Islamic history, he said.

Holding cultural events to commemorate the Sacred Defense and reviewing the memories of the Iranian combatants would guide the next generations to move toward the Islamic Revolution goals.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – As one of the most original arts and crafts in the world, Iranian handicrafts suffer from poor branding. Ehsan Mohammadi, an economic activist, and designer of luxury handicrafts added: “Iran has the highest rank in many branches of handicrafts in the world, but our country’s products are offered in the target markets without a name or logo.” He explained that the lack of a specific brand and it has led other countries to confiscate Iranian handicrafts in their own names. In addition to financial gain, the registration of their brand will also take over the intellectual property of these products. Ehsan Mohammadi continued: “This situation has caused many people to copy the pure designs and ideas of Iranian handicrafts and use them in their products without paying a fee, and it is interesting to know that even big and well-known brands behave in this way.” He said that we must prevent the continuation of these conditions and to stop them as soon as possible, he said: In the current situation, Iranian artists do not benefit financially from their efforts, nor the results of their efforts are recorded in their names and market. The economic activist added: “We have to brand our country’s handicrafts in order to have both its intellectual property and to benefit from the economic benefits of exporting these products.”
He said that in the design of many products of reputable brands, traces of Iranian handicrafts can be seen.

The marks of Cultural heritage belongs to all humanity was made on Monday in a tweet while also posting pictures of some cultural and historic cites in Iran.

Yesterday, US President Donald Trump had threatened that the United States will target 52 sensitive cultural sites of the Islamic Republic of Iran in case Iran carried out its promised revenge over the US assassination of Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani.

Trump’s threat of Iran faced widespread condemnations both inside the outside the country but despite this, Trump repeated such threat yesterday.

The United States terrorist forces assassinated Lt. General Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s pro-government Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) — better known as Hashd al-Sha’abi — in an airstrike at Baghdad’s international airport early on Friday.

Is Iran safe for tourists?

One of the main questions of tourists is that is it safe to travel to eastern countries? Iran is a special country with wide verity of specifications such as nature and different cultures. So because of the highest rate of tourism capacity, all the tourists prefer to travel to Iran. For all tourists, Iran is the best choice to travel just because of its money value. But there is the main question for everyone.

Is it safe to travel to Iran? One of the main things that attract tourists is Iranian culture. The Iranian people are famous for their hospitality and also all the tourists don’t have clear image of Islamic beliefs and it’s just because of negative propaganda and they don’t know about Iranian morals and beliefs and how they treat with their guests. You must visit Iran to see the reality of this country and forget about the negative ideas which some Medias said about Iran to ruin its fame and also its image to the world internationally so please come and visit this pretty country and enjoy your trip to Iran.

Is Iran interest for people?

Iran has lots of beautiful and spectacular places which can attract all people around the world. When we see every part of this country we face a brand new view that shows us a very new world. The history, architecture, culture, nature and different places of Iran that attract tourists to visit Iran and see the reality of Iran, all the media wants to presents different image despite the real Iran to the people around the world and to spread dark, cruel and ambiguous mentality to ruin all thoughts toward Iran.

In western countries whenever they hear the name of this country they just remind of war and terrorism and they decide to never travel to Iran. But some tourist never pay attention to this negative propagandas and decide to travel to Iran to see the reality of this country and touch the culture of the people of Iran and after entering to this country they found out everything different than what all medias said before against Iran and in the end they will explain about the joy of traveling to the others.

One of the tourists said that when my friend’s realized that I want to travel to Iran, he told me that you are crazy Iran is dangerous. Don’t go! We afraid, But I decided to see Iran despite all bad international images. And after that, we explained it was an amazing country and safety but they didn’t believe us.

Iranian family culture

Family is main parts of every society, Iranian family contains of parents and children which they live together. The families have high priority in Iran and it is a respectful unit in Iranian society structure. In the past grandparents lived with them too but gradually they separate themselves from their child and grandchild. Iranian families always live together until the time that their child got married. In some other cities of Iran we can see that even after children got married they live with parents but in some other cities they live separately.
Iranian family always supports each other for example whenever their relatives have any problem they help each other and never let them to be alone. Even they participate in holding a ceremony such as weeding or other celebrations. Iranian people are really kind and helpful. They always do their best in every aspect of life.

Parents in Iran have responsibility of treating children and supporting them in education process and also helping them to be independent. In the future help them to get married and find partner for life.
Marriage is an acceptable way of sexual relations but it is a permanent commitment. Parents most of the time are responsible for formal proposal for marriage of their child in Iran we call it Khastegari. During Khastegari two families of bride and groom discuss about marital contracts. The average age of marriage for women is 19 to 22 and 24 to 26 for men but the divorce rate now a day’s increased gradually. In Iran divorce isn’t approved in Iranian culture.

Are Iranians kindly people?

Since the Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1979, the government of Iran has been accused by some countries, including the United States, of funding, providing equipment and weapons, training and giving sanctuary to terrorists. These are some political stereotypes caused by propaganda war which have made the people throughout the world believe Iranians are all terrorists. The United States, for example, claimed after the September 11 that Iranian people had major roles in the terroristic attacks, which was never proved though. Investigations could not prove the presence or any kind of role of even one single Iranian in the attack.

Iran is a peaceful region in the ever-in-war area of the Middle East and the people have not ever witnessed any terroristic activities on the streets. Thanks to the virtuous people, armed forces and the police, Iranians experience a secure and peaceful life, and tourists a trip to the country with no worries about any possible terroristic activities.
