Iranian tire manufacturers produced 127,666 tons of the product during the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 22) to register a two-percent drop compared to the same period of time in the past year.
Three major Iranian carmakers, namely Iran Khodro Company (IKCO), SAIPA Group, and Pars Khodro, manufactured 203,529 vehicles during the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21- June 21), the data released by Codal website showed.
According to statistics, 90,306 passenger cars were manufactured in the previous month of the current year (May 21 to June 20), showing a 31 percent growth as compared to the last year’s corresponding period.
