Abdul Rahman al Louizi, Iraqi MP from the constituency of Nineveh Governorate, issued a communique on Tuesday saying that all terrorist groups in northern Iraq are supported by Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Masoud Barzani.

This member of the Council of Representatives of Iraq described the PKK decision to form a popular council in the Qandil Mountains to govern over Baliyan, Nawodasht, Sourdi, Qalatuka, and Mardow, in northern Iraq as an act of occupation conducted by the ISIL terrorists.

“The Kurdistan Democratic Party is paving the way for this terror enclave in a bid to pose pressure on Baghdad and neighboring countries,” asserted the Iraqi law-maker.

“The Kurdistan Democratic Party is trying to win the control of some regions after the protests of the last days and on the other hand in backing the formation of some terrorist groups like “White Flags” to pose more pressure on Baghdad,” noted the Iraqi MP.

He affirmed that Barzani is backing terrorist groups in the Qandil Mountains the same way he helped the ISIL.

“Baghdad and Ankara will in no way allow the formation of new illegal bands in northern Iraq which would endanger trade and oil transaction between the two countries, and hence the eradication of the council is surely to happen,” reiterated the legislator.

“If Riyadh has detained the Lebanese prime minister, it has committed some sort of international transgression. People like Masoud Barzani and Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi who accepted bribes from Saudi Arabia have no right to go to Riyadh.

If you stop bombarding Yemeni people, peace will be restored,” he wrote in his twitter account.

Saudi Arabia launched airstrikes against several areas in Yemen on 26 March 2015, and accused Iran of aiding Yemeni terrorist groups.

“They have to resign from their posts. At the same time, the Cabinet should be abolished, too,” party spokesman Shorsh Haji told a news conference, calling for the formation of a “national salvation government”.

According to Anadolu, “Our people have lost many of their achievements which they gained shedding their blood. Peshmerga [fighters] ost their grandeur. We lost many friendly countries. The reason for all of this is due to the failures of the party in power,” he added.

On Sept. 25, Iraqis in KRG-controlled-held areas — and in several disputed parts of the country — voted on whether or not to declare independence from the Iraqi state.

According to poll results announced by the KRG, almost 93 percent of those who cast ballots voted in favor of independence.

The illegitimate referendum faced sharp opposition from most regional and international actors (including the US, Turkey and Iran), who warned that the poll would distract from Iraq’s fight against terrorism and further destabilize the region.
