Russia and Iran are organizing cooperation between the Russian financial messaging system and Iran's Electronic Financial Messaging System (SEPAM) as an alternative to making payments through SWIFT for protection against third countries' sanctions, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told reporters Friday.
