Iran’s aluminum production in the year to March rose 61% from the prior year to nearly half a million tons, according to a report by the country’s state-run metals and mining conglomerate IMIDRO.
Iran’s aluminum production reached 211,779 tons during the first six months of the current Iranian year (Mar. 20, 2020-Sept. 21, 2020).
Production of the aluminum ingot in Iran rose 70 percent during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 20-August 21, 2020) compared to the same period last year.
Iran’s major aluminum producers made a production of 185,570 tons of aluminum ingots during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year.
During weekdays ending up to December 13, while, 313,311 million tons (MT) of commodities worth over $309.5 million were traded on Iran Mercantile Exchange, the trading volume and value experienced a growth of 50 and 35 percent, respectively.
