TEHRAN (Iran News) Regarding the nuclear issue, Larijani said in a post on X on Saturday that the United States withdrew from the JCPOA, thus causing damage to Iran.

He added that Iran started increasing its production of 60% enriched uranium, noting that the two sides are now in a new situation.

Larijani remarked that if the new US officials claim they are only against Iran’s nuclear weapons, they should accept Iran’s conditions in exchange for this and agree to the necessary points, including compensation, to reach a new deal.

TEHRAN (Iran News) The conflicts in the southern Lebanon highlight the Israeli regime’s irrationality and failure, IRNA quoted Ali Larijani as saying in an interview with Al Mayadeen early on Saturday.

In his remarks, Larijani said he was carrying a direct message from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to Syrian President Bashar Assad and Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

The messages mainly reiterated the support for the Syrian and Lebanese nation and resistance, according to Larijani.

He went on to emphasize that the draft of the truce agreement includes articles which will lead to a deal if the United States and the Israeli regime do not violate them.

Hezbollah with its wise commanders has a mature political rationality,” the senior advisor announced.

Speaking about the policies of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Larijani said he has wishes to change the Middle East, but he is not powerful enough to fulfil his dream as he is dependent on the US strength.

The formation of a new Middle East cannot be achieved by certain individuals but by those who fight in the battlefield and resist the enemies, he added.

Elsewhere, he assured that victory will be gained as the Zionist genocidal acts in the Gaza Strip have made the people in the region resistant and powerful.

Heading a delegation, Larijani departed for Damascus on Thursday, November 14, to hold talks with top Syrian officials.

Later, he visited Lebanon, met with senior officials in the Arab country and exchanged views about the latest regional developments.

TEHRAN – Chairman of Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce Majid Reza Hariri says anybody who talks about the future of China’s 25-year cooperation program with Iran just expresses his own opinion and it can be invalid and the only source whose opinion and news on this cooperation is valid and authentic is the center which has been launched in Iran and former Majlis Speaker Mr. Ali Larijani is in charge of it.

Speaking to ILNA, Hariri reacted to the remarks of one of Majlis lawmakers who claimed the China government delays implementing its 25-year cooperation program with Iran as the Chinese are waiting for the next government in Iran. He added when one government is in its last days and a new government is to take office, it usually affects on the international interactions but the comprehensive Sino-Iran 25-year cooperation program has been drawn up in a way that it is not dependent on the governments and for this reason a long-term plan has been drawn up, and  it means the relation between the Islamic Republic establishment and China.

He added therefore regarding these relations it makes no difference whether Mr Rouhani’s government to be in charge or the next government because it is not supposed the tastes of governments to be involved in this regard.

Hariri added that it has been tried this program to be above the government or political fraction approaches, and since the day one it has been decided the program to advance between the Islamic Republic establishment and China. He noted so for shaping this relation, in 2018 Mr. Larijani went to China as Iran’s representative, it means no government official has been chosen for this task and Mr. Larijani accompanied by seven government ministers conveyed Supreme Leader’s message to China.

He stipulated that it means this program has nothing to do with governments and after that visit, the government officially announced that Mr. Larijani is in charge of managing negotiations between Iran and China for drawing up the comprehensive plan. He noted Mr. Larijani has no parliamentary or government job and he has been appointed in charge of this program as the representative of the establishment and currently he is managing it and he is busy with his job in an office which has been allocated for it.

Hariri reiterated that some specialized workgroups are working on this program and it has nothing to do with the change of governments. He emphasized the necessity of univocal in negotiations, and avoiding any distractive remarks. He reiterated that the only legitimate place whose news on this relation is authentic and is allowed to talk on is this center.

He added that anybody except this center who talks about this program is just expressing his personal opinion and it may be wrong.

Hariri noted that any remark on this cooperation program is just for domestic consumption and inter-political front disputes and can have negative impact on the negotiations. He said all of us are to have one voice and the voice is that both Supreme Leader has ordered and the government has approved it, so other voices and remarks may disrupt the trend of these talks.

In the past two weeks, people in the world have seen important events regarding ineffectiveness of the U.S. sanctions against Iran and Venezuela. Five oil tankers from Iran headed towards Venezuela to deliver gasoline and fuel boosters while world media were monitoring the move of vessels from the Strait of Gibraltar towards Caribbean Sea every second and today all news and reports indicate that the U.S. did a wise calculation not to interfere and paved the ground for revealing this belief and thought globally that sanctions are getting ineffective.

IRAN NEWS POLITICAL DESK

The U.S. could target the first tanker heading towards Caribbean Sea with firing a laser missile and undoubtedly, Iran would have returned the remaining cargo but why did not the U.S. do it? Three calculations were effective in the U.S. decision. First. they could lose security of its shipping in the whole world and this issue regardless of its political disgrace could inflict heavy insurance costs on maritime and it could deteriorate the U.S. economy which is currently struggling because of the Coronavirus, and essentially today neither Donald Trump and the White House nor American people expected the U.S. to sink in a deeper quagmire than the Coronavirus and they do not expect, either, and it seems in the future they would not expect it, either.

Secondly, in Iran a Majlis has started its work for legislation which is totally different from all previous ones since the victory of the Islamic Revolution and if the U.S. government in the past and through secret lobbying used to pave the ground for secret deals with Iranian governments specially the tenth Majlis which closed its eyes on them, the condition today has changed and even the government has to answer for its acts in the past. So, if the U.S. had done any aggression on Iranian tankers, the new Majlis undoubtedly would have had a decisive response to it. Newly-elected Majlis deputies with overwhelming majority of 230 votes elected Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf as the new Speaker. Americans do not have Ali Larijani any longer to approve the JCPOA in just 20 minutes. So they had to act wisely and prudently.

Thirdly, the Americans have learned that with the existing economic current in Iran, their sanctions are more ineffective than they expected to have serious and strategic impact on the resistance axis. So the best option for them was to invite Iran for better co-existence, détente and reducing tensions and animosities and this path may lead the U.S. to close its eyes on Iran’s economic behavior in the world and gradually to change the route of sanctions for opening economic cooperation with Iran. Of course, one obvious dichotomy is seen between what is going on in the U.S. Department of State and in the White House and this dichotomy can be out of prudence.

The White House closes its eyes on fuel delivery of Iranian tankers to Venezuela and takes no action and at the same time in the U.S. Department of State, the Iran Action Group holds session of “storytelling” and in its meeting threatens Iran while they are fully aware that their threats are void. In the meeting, U.S. Secretary of State in a statement announces that the U.S. will end sanctions waiver for all countries in Iran nuclear deal and he announces slapping sanctions on two Iranians involved in Iran’s nuclear program.

Regarding this issue, some puppet-like people like Brian Hook, Christopher Ashley Ford and Morgan Ortagus still claim that they are preventing Iran from making nuclear warheads. These people either are really unaware of how absurd is their remarks or they have mission to make people laugh.

Today with this authority that Iran has made way in any part of the world wisely and smartly, it does not need to any arsenals. When has Iran decided to take revenge by mobilize its forces against the people of a country instead of targeting the goals of the arrogant governments?

How can we, in Iran, while thinking of sending food, medicine and humanitarian aids for the Coronavirus-hit American people, think of making A-bomb whose aim is destruction and massacre? In the U.S. Department of State, today wisdom is not to beat the drum of animosity and trumpeting the distrust. I wish they, in the department, could be after finding a peaceful way for restoring an economic relation with Iran which can help the ground for opening the way for arrival of the U.S. companies into Iran’s market like the White House did in order not to fan the flame of enmity. I wish they could think more of the Coronavirus that today has involved all countries and the U.S. more than any one. Who knows he will be alive two months later? The Iran Action Group, necessarily and in line with the White House prudent strategy, should think of this issue more that there are more praised ways in human nature than hatred and animosity.

According To Iran News, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on Tuesday that resolving Iran’s problems is the most significant revolutionary step against US oppression.

He made the remarks in meeting with parliamentary deputies of executive bodies and appreciated their efforts to solve problems and having integration with members of the parliament.

“I believe that the Legislature, Executive, and the Judiciary branches must work together in the current economic, regional and international situation to overcome difficulties,” Larijani noted, adding that this is the most significant revolutionary step against US oppression.

Larijani also held a meeting with a number of military commanders on Tuesday including the Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Commander of Iran’s Army Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami, Quds Force commander Brigadier General Esmail Ghaani, IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, and Iranian Police Chief Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari.

Referring to the military and police forces as the main pillars of the country, he praised the role of the armed forces in the current regional situation.

The meetings come as the new Parliament will be inaugurated on Wednesday. Larijani served as the speaker for 12 years and is not present in the new parliament.

According To Iran News, In a message to Iran’s Parliament speaker Ali Larijani, Chairman of the National People’s Congress Li Zhanshu said he expects further Iran-China cooperation after beating the cornavirus.

Zhanshu expressed regret about the infection of Larijani to Covid-19, hoping for his speedy recovery.

He named Iran-China ties strategic, referring to their mutual efforts and support for each other in fight against the deadly virus.

The Chinese official also voiced his country’s readiness for further cooperation with Iran in fight against Covid-19.

China is of the countries that has always called for lifting US cruel and inhumane sanctions imposed against Iran.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi hailed China’s commitment in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic – known as COVID-19 – and its efforts to assist other countries to contain the virus outbreak.

Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, was detected in Wuhan city in central China in December. This disease was first called pneumonia but the China’s National Health Commission announced the outbreak of COVID-19 officially in Dec. 30, 2019.

As of Monday, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Iran has reached 60,500, with a total death toll of 3,739.

According To Iran News, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani was quarantined at home after showing symptoms of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19.

“Mr. Larijani has tested positive for the coronavirus,” the Public Relations Office of the Iranian Parliament said in a statement on Thursday evening.

The speaker is now under quarantine and his general health condition is good, it added.

Iran has been among the countries hardest hit by the new coronavirus, which first showed up in China in late December 2019 before spreading to other parts of the world.

The death toll from COVID-19 in Iran has risen to 3,160 after 124 patients died over the past 24 hours, Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoosh Jahanpoor said on state TV on Thursday.

A total of 16,711 patients have been discharged from the hospital after recovering from the disease, he added.
