Iran has been ranked first worldwide in terms of price competitiveness in the World Economic Forum's "Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report 2019" with a score of 6.7.

TEHRAN – Head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) says the number of foreign tourists visiting Iran has grown by 40 percent in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year.
