    TEHRAN - In a bid to revive the global recognition of two historic carpet-producing cities, Kerman and Bukhara, a joint market for their traditional handwoven rugs is being proposed. Seyed Mehdi Tabibzadeh, head of the Kerman Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between the two cities to restore the reputation of Kerman and Bukhara carpets, which are currently being produced and marketed under these names by third-party countries.
