    A sick economy means when the rate of money supply growth in any society exceeds the growth of real production of goods and services, demand for goods increases, and as a result, competition for selling at higher prices begins, with everyone trying to take revenge on the customer, who is eager to buy, by offering goods at higher prices. Essentially, liquidity (the volume of money and quasi-money in society) is the driving engine of inflation and price increases.
