    TEHRAN - The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Tehran observed Kashmir Black Day on Monday, October 27, to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for self-determination. The day marks a somber chapter in history — it was on October 27th, 1947, that Indian forces landed in Jammu and Kashmir, beginning a decades-long occupation that has subjected generations of Kashmiris to political repression, human rights abuses, and denial of their fundamental right to self-determination as enshrined in various United Nations Security Council resolutions.
