TEHRAN - The National Pavilion of Iran has officially opened at GITEX Global 2025, featuring the active participation of Iranian technology firms and startups. TEHRAN - Iran’s exports to Russia are approaching the $1 billion threshold, signaling a significant expansion in trade relations between the two countries. According to Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavi, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade and Head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), trade between Tehran and Moscow has grown by more than 30 percent in the first five months of the current Iranian year.

TEHRAN - Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade, Seyed Mohammad Atabak, has requested that President Masoud Pezeshkian, in his capacity as the head of the Supreme Council of Standards, form a committee comprised of key ministers — including those of Economy, Foreign Affairs, and Industry, as well as the National Standards Organization and the Customs Administration — to finalize Iran’s joint standards with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) within a short time frame.

TEHRAN - The Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran has announced that the key outcome of the recent trilateral summit between Iran, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Russia was the development of a roadmap to achieve a transit capacity of 15 million tons of goods among the three countries. Highlighting the strategic importance of the Rasht–Astara railway connection, the minister confirmed that land acquisition for the remaining sections of the project will be completed by the end of this year.

TEHRAN - According to estimates by the Research Center of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, the country’s overall Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) — known locally as Shamekh — for September was recorded at 45.3, showing a slightly slower decline compared with the previous month but remaining below the neutral threshold of 50 for the 18th consecutive month.

TEHRAN - The head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavi, announced that the country’s non-oil exports reached $25.94 billion in the first six months of the current Iranian year (March–September 2025), a slight increase from $25.92 billion during the same period last year. While the export value remained nearly unchanged, export volume grew by 6 percent.
