The spare part you need is here!

Eng. Amir Hossein Bayat, born in 1983/84, holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (solid mechanics and design) and is a member of the Bayat family, who have for years been active in the field of providing after-sales services for heating and cooling systems.

Eng. Amir Hossein Bayat

He is the one who came up with the idea of developing the BuySellYadak system, which is the first specialized platform for distribution of spare parts. The initiative aims to cut out the middlemen from this sector.

Today, due to the economic situation and people’s low income, it is difficult for them to buy new items. So most people prefer to fix their stuff and use them for a longer time. In fact, the need for spare parts is felt more than before.

That is why Taban Binesh Yadak Co., in cooperation with a wide range of manufacturers, distributes spare parts for various types of products (such as wall radiators packages, water heaters, different kinds of evaporative coolers and air conditioners, and other widely used home appliances). In the following, we will get more familiar with the manager and activities of this company.

Would you please tell us about the activities and progress of your company?

Eng. Bayat: I’m a member of one of the first groups who were awarded a standard certificate for after-sales services in the field of installations in Iran. I mean we received the certificate along with large companies such as Iran Radiator, Butane, etc.

The company that we have registered for nationwide distribution of spare parts is called Taban Binesh Yadak Paksh, which owns the BuySellYadak application. This app has for the first time provided an opportunity for spare parts stores across the country to offer their products in a specialized atmosphere in this market.

We have for years worked in the field of after-sales services and distribution of spare parts and decided to combine our experience with modern technology to resolve the problems facing people and technicians once and for all.

The decision was made after we identified the strong and weak points in this sector and in light of the fact that the spare parts market is not evenly distributed in Iran and many fake spare parts have found their way to the market due to the presence of middlemen and profiteers.

In fact, we decided to help organize the spare parts market with the help of the most reputable sellers in different cities and put their warehouses on public display. Let me give you an example.

There is no platform where you can buy a vacuum cleaner bag, and people have no option but to buy it from middlemen or anyone who may not even have any information about this product.

Now, how should they know whether they have bought an original one or a fake one? How should they know whether they have overpaid or not? There is no way to tell. That’s where we come in to help.

We were previously working traditionally. For example, we used to participate in city-level exhibitions or distribute our brochures to introduce ourselves.

But three years ago, we decided to go digital. So we tested out the ParsGheteh application and published it in a limited fashion to identify the market’s weak spots.

Two years after the start of the services of ParsGheteh in the field of spare parts for wall radiators packages (which was fortunately welcomed by technicians) and after identifying the system’s problems, we decided to develop a new system for the company.

We did not want our company to be the sole seller in the new system. So we decided to create a platform where all sellers across the country could put their spare parts on public display.

For example, we wanted to help a seller in Bushehr sell his product to a person looking for it in Gorgan.

One of the main issues in the service sector in our country is that many products which are being used by people are not being imported by official importers.

For instance, many products have found their ways to people’s homes via Baneh, and it is impossible for the consumer to find the required spare parts. So that individual is left with no alternative but to replace that item with a new one despite the financial problems he or she may have. This is while that item could be fixed and used at a much lower cost.

Therefore, if consumers have access to all stores in the country, they can resolve this problem. Our system has actually been designed in a way that helps consumers and technicians get access to large warehouses of spare parts across the country.

In addition to connecting sellers and consumers, this system has greatly contributed to the promotion of entrepreneurship. I mean it has turned the job of selling spare parts into a sustainable profession with a decent income across the country, which in turn will help bolster the after-sales services market.

With the help of BuySellYadak, families will no longer have to pay large amounts of money to buy new stuff when their old items can still be used.

Would you please explain more about the software?

Eng. Bayat: This software has been specifically designed to be used in the field of spare parts, and its first phase has been launched so far.

You have to remember that the spare parts market is more dynamic than the product market. The issue is that each product is consisted of dozens of parts and each spare parts seller has a large number of each item.

In the system that we have devised, buyers can shop from dozens of stores across the country and have the item delivered to their doorstep.

Our services are available 24 hours a day and all transactions are secure. Meanwhile, the prices are competitive, and only original parts are offered. These are only some of the advantages of our system.

It is so easy to imagine that buyers and sellers will no longer have a difficult time with the help of a system that helps the many stores across Iran to offer products required by customers in different corners of the country.

The mere service of shipping these products contributes to job creation. In addition, the shipment of spare parts on a daily basis from different parts of the country can help intercity transport companies generate more revenues.

What is the distinctive feature of the BuySellYadak software?

Eng. Bayat: The most important feature of this system is that it is a specialized one and is the first of its kind in the country and the services of stores active in this system are available 24 hours a day. As mentioned earlier, contribution to job creation, cutting out the middlemen, and making the prices real are among its other features.

What challenge did you face along the way?

Eng. Bayat: Given the wide range of products and the specialized nature of stores, it is difficult to offer the products. Another issue is that the traditional nature of the after-sales services sector in Iran made it a very time-consuming task to make people familiar with this system. To resolve these issues, the system has been simplified to a great extent.

What are your proposed solutions to get more people familiar with this system?

Eng. Bayat: These days people search the Internet a lot, and they will come across our system if they search for a reliable platform to buy their required products. Meanwhile, we have certain plans to introduce our system, which we will implement in phases.

Are technicians involved in your system or is it only a platform to offer products?

Eng. Bayat: If you mean technicians as buyers or sellers, then the answer is ‘yes’ because technicians are consumers of these spare parts. But if you are talking about the services of technicians, I should say that such an option is not available at the moment. We have detailed plans for the next phases, which we will announce in due time.

How is the payment made in this system?

Eng. Bayat: Payment is done online, and the simplest procedure has been defined for purchase and payment in this system. It has once and for all resolved the many issues related to card-to-card payment, paying through the bank, going to the seller’s store, contacting different people to find the right product, and buying the wrong spare part.

Is there anything left to say about the designed system?

Eng. Bayat: This system has been launched in the country for the first time and definitely faces many issues and challenges. I would like to thank those who supported us and helped us launch this system.

And your final words?

Eng. Bayat: A major problem in our country is that all people and officials pay attention only to Tehran. It means if an item becomes scarce in Tehran, the government or businessmen immediately move to import or procure it.

This is while there are many stores in different cities across Iran who can meet the needs of the country with the products they have in their warehouses.

This system can help stores all around the country to serve as an alternative to Tehran Bazaar and bring products stored in their warehouses back to the product cycle.

If products in other cities enter the economic cycle, foreign currency will not leave the country and the return of people’s capital to the economic cycle will help boost the market.

The BuySellYadak team is ready to share its experience with the concerned authorities to help cut out the middlemen in other sectors.
