Mr. Ghasem Askari Nasab said that over 12,000 people have enjoyed sea voyages in international routes through the province and exports of oil products from the ports of the province have grown by 24 percent.

He added that over 2.7m tons of goods have been loaded and unloaded in the western ports of Hormuzgan province, especially in Bandar Lengeh.
Askari Nasab added that 612,745 tons of the total trans-shipped goods belong to non-oil goods.
He went on to say that exports of agro or livestock products from those ports have grown by 3 percent and the amount of exports has been 78157 tons which shows 3 percent growth.
He admitted that the volume of non-oil imports from the ports has declined by 35 percent comparing to the same period last year.
He also noted that the non-oil goods transit has grown by 29 percent in four months and the volume of the non-oil exports has been over 114,000 tons.
Askari Nasab went on to say that over 55,000 vehicles have been also transited via those ports.
He also reiterated that the ply of vessels in the ports has grown by 21 percent, adding that over 20,000 vessels have entered the ports for load and unload.
Askari Nasab went on to say that over 12,000 people have had sea voyages for international destinations via those ports which shows 11 percent growth and ranks second among ports in the country.
He noted that over 209,000 passengers and tourists have been trans-shipped from Lengeh, Aftab and Charak ports to some islands in the Persian Gulf.
