An Iranian parliamentary delegation left Tehran on Sunday morning for Damascus to discuss parliamentary ties with Syrian officials, Mehr reported.
Headed by Chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, the delegation is set to exchange views with Syrian officials about the future of Tehran-Damascus relations in the post-Daesh era.
The committee has held several politico-economic meetings with Syrian and Iraqi officials to boost Iran’s relations with those countries, especially in the aftermath of the crises they have been dealing with.
