TEHRAN (Iran News) The executive secretary of Kish Expo 1404 said at the opening ceremony that this year’s event has been organized with the participation of representatives from 40 countries, dozens of Iranian companies, and 300 domestic and foreign investors, traders and officials active in international investment and trade.

Mohammadreza Ghaderi added that “110 pavilions have been allocated to domestic companies and participating countries so they can come together to explore economic capacities and find ways to expand international trade and business.”

He described investment as “the master key to the country’s economic prosperity,” saying that attracting capital to boost production and exports based on the capacities of participating states and Iran is among the main objectives of this year’s expo.

Ghaderi noted that the exhibition features four main sectors and 12 sub-categories, including energy, industry and new technologies—covering oil, gas, petrochemicals, renewables, mining industries, transportation, advanced technologies and urban infrastructure; the digital economy and financial services; agriculture, health and food industries; and tourism, culture and lifestyle, including handicrafts, automobiles and related equipment.
