Iranian religious scholar calls unity essential to counter enemies’ plots
TEHRAN (Iran News) Mowlavi Sadr Ad-Din Ahrari, Friday Prayer Leader in Iran’s northeastern city of Khaf, has described unity as a vital factor to thwart the schemes of enemies.
In an interview with IRNA on Saturday, on the cusp of Unity Week in Iran, Ahrari emphasized that preserving unity and solidarity among Muslims, both Shia and Sunni, is a vital strategy in resisting the plots of foes.
The cleric warned that enemies, including the Israeli regime, are actively pursuing hostile goals against Muslims and the oppressed people of Gaza through various deceptive tactics.
He described Unity Week as a legacy of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, and a powerful symbol of the Islamic Ummah’s need for solidarity.
Today, global arrogance appears to be aligned against Islam and Muslims, the religious figure said. “Iranian religious scholar”
In such circumstances, Ahrari urged believers to maintain their unity and awareness to expose and resist enemy conspiracies.
Unity Week is a significant observance in the Islamic calendar, celebrated annually between two key dates: the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal, recognized by Sunni Muslims as the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and the 17th of Rabi al-Awwal, commemorated by Shia Muslims.
