TEHRAN (Iran News) Gaza’s Health Ministry announced that 76 Palestinians were killed and 158 injured in Israeli strikes during the latest 24-hour period.
Al Jazeera Arabic reported that an Israeli air raid near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza killed at least 17 people. Another attack on a house near al-Jalaa Street in west Gaza City claimed seven lives, leaving many others wounded.
Medical sources confirmed that 46 individuals were killed in airstrikes since dawn, with 30 of the casualties occurring in the northern Gaza Strip.
A bombing in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza killed four people, according to Al Jazeera’s correspondent.
A missile strike near a grocery shop in the camp hit a busy area filled with vendors and shoppers, killing four individuals, including a woman and a teenage boy, and injuring others.
An airstrike on a house in Gaza City near al-Jalaa Street left three dead, including two children. In the southern Gaza Strip, one person died in a drone attack on the Khirbet al-Adas area near Rafah, while residential buildings in Rafah’s Saudi neighborhood were destroyed by Israeli forces.
Elsewhere, an attack on a group of displaced people in northern Gaza killed two and injured others, Al Jazeera reported. Ambulances were unable to reach the area due to ongoing bombardment. This mirrored scenes from the previous day, when a multistorey building attack killed at least 50 people, leaving emergency responders unable to assist due to Israeli military presence.
In Khan Younis, five individuals sheltering in a tent were killed by Israeli strikes. Nearby, bodies of four people, displaced and sheltering in al-Mawasi, were recovered after an airstrike. At least five people, including three children and two women, were killed in Gaza City while sheltering in a residential home.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) coordinated evacuations of 15 patients and their companions from Kamal Adwan Hospital to al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, along with others from Al-Awda Hospital. These efforts were conducted in collaboration with the World Health Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The northern Gaza Strip has been under siege since early October, with Israeli forces cutting off humanitarian aid, including medical supplies, and conducting constant airstrikes.
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) reported a surge in displaced individuals at their clinic in Gaza City. “We are seeing about 140,000 displaced people, with 300 new injuries daily, many from chronic illnesses,” said MSF’s Amande Bazerolle. She added that staff trapped in northern Gaza are reporting dire conditions, including severe shortages of food, water, and medicine.
Since October 7, Gaza’s Health Ministry reports that 43,922 people have been killed and 103,898 injured in Israeli attacks, underscoring the escalating toll of the ongoing genocidal war.
