The four-day event will showcase over 60 artworks in various fields including traditional Iranian jewelry, metal engraving and sculpture as well as damascening which is the art of inlaying different metals into one another, typically gold or silver into a darkly oxidized steel background, to produce intricate patterns.
Organized by Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) in collaboration with South Korea’s Embassy in Iran, the exhibition will accept visitors between 9 am-3 pm, ISNA reported.
In another show scheduled for November 22-29, in Seoul, Iranian handicraft will be displayed for the Korean people.
