TEHRAN (Iran News) During a ceremony in the northern city of Nowshahr on Saturday, Rear Admiral Irani highlighted the history and capabilities of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in protecting the country’s maritime borders.

He added, “Naval command coverage has expanded from safeguarding the Strait of Hormuz to the northern Persian Gulf and has now reached distant waters and oceans. All these achievements are owed to the sacrifices of our martyrs and our domestic capabilities.” “Navy operational command”

The commander pointed to the achievements of the Navy during the 12-day Israeli aggression, adding, “Despite pressures and threats, all operations were conducted successfully. Just as we stood firm during the eight years of the Sacred Defense (the Iraq-imposed war against Iran from 1980 to 1988), today, the country’s security remains stable.”
