Iran Finishes 4th at 2025 Asian Youth Games
TEHRAN (Iran News) The top five countries by total medal count at the 2025 Asian Youth Games are: China — 63 gold, 49 silver, 35 bronze (147 medals); Uzbekistan — 37 gold, 16 silver, 28 bronze (81 medals); Kazakhstan — 24 gold, 29 silver, 40 bronze (93 medals); Iran — 22 gold, 18 silver, 36 bronze (76 medals); and Thailand — 15 gold, 15 silver, 18 bronze (48 medals).
The 3rd Asian Youth Games were held in Bahrain from October 22 to 31.
The Games served as qualifiers for the 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar.
Iran had sent 236 athletes to the event.
